Such a beautiful, welcoming, chill location, cabin had everything we needed and wanted. We made the most of everything that was offered: kayaks, fishing, fires, screened porch, fireplace inside, laundry was super helpful to have, our 3 teenage boys could not have had a better time! Thank you hosts!!!
A nice quiet spot that's exactly as advertised. Easy access to Pine City for whatever you may have forgotten and far enough out to enjoy quiet and the river. A great place for a long family weekend.
Cabin was adorable - just as described. Location was great and kayaks were so nice to have available. Cabin was well stocked - kitchen utensils etc, basic cooking supplies, soap, lots of towels. Would absolutely stay again!
As advertised - clean and comfortable. The Keurig and pods was a decided PLUS!

Cleanliness issues
We loved the location and the screened in porch with fire table. However, my oldest daughter arrived before the rest of us to find mice droppings on the kitchen counters, in the beds, and on a large stuffed toy deer “covered” in mouse droppings. The droppings were so bad in the beds that 2 of us slept on the couch and on the floor. We were determined to enjoy our time together, so made the best of the situation. However, I would not recommend this stay as it appeared in the past reviews this had been an issue and evidently is still a problem. The owners were notified and the response was sorry.
We really liked this cabin! It was cute, close to the river and the three season porch was awesome. We loved to use the gas fireplace when bugs got pesky. The cabin was well equipped with stuff to make our stay great. We also enjoyed kayaking up the river. There is a really neat alcove just a ways up river. A couple dislikes: in the main bedroom, bed is only a double. This was not comfortable sleeping for 2 adults especially when our kids were sprawled out in the same size bunk beds. I also would have loved to have a bit more of a private river access. It is shared and in front of the neighboring cabin, which felt a bit awkward at times when they were on their deck. We still had alot of fun splashing in the water there and it was a good entry point for the kayaks. Overall cabin was great! We would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful, well kept cabin and property. River was gorgeous, wonderful views. . Wildlife and fauna are abundant. Very quiet, peaceful and serene. Property owners were absolutely charming, kind and helpful. I got a great opportunity to check out and unwind. Totaly worth it, and I will go back.
Great place to stay with family, there are two cabins that are close together and it is on the river which is an amazing view! Everything you would need was provided!! Would love to stay in summer!
This property is beautiful! We even had a chance to meet the owner and her dog, Pete the Great Dane. We had a wonderful week enjoying the peacefulness of this spot and the beauty of nature surrounding it. 5 stars all the way!
First I will say the owners are very nice to work with - I messed up and accidentally booked 2 of their cabins and they were very accommodating even though they didn't need to be. The cabin itself was awesome - very quiet and cozy and clean - exactly what we were looking for with a great view of the river. We were in the Pine City area visiting family - and oh so much better than a hotel. Lots of places in town to get supplies - 15 minutes away - also Nicoll's diner in town was awesome!
I wish the weather would have allowed up to use the fire-table in the screen porch. But it was a cold night. The cabin was as expected, and perfect for a romantic get-a-way for myself and Laurie. We enjoyed the cabin just a lot.

My partner and I vacationed in this cabin last year and it's as quaint and wonderful as we remember. I sincerely hope the owners do not overly modernize the place because it would take away from the "cabin feel", which is its greatest charm. This is the only vacation house we've been to that our dog immediately took to, since she is prone to anxiety in new places and usually doesn't eat or fully relax. The semi isolation is also a plus, if not a little unnerving at night lol. Will most definitely be back next year, probably around the same time!

River not really visible
We stayed at this cabin for a weekend to visit family in Pine City. While it was a cute rustic cabin, we really didn't have a view of the river and didn't appear to have access to it. The cabin initially appeared clean, but later found several areas with mouse droppings. The water pressure was poor and the beds were not comfortable and a queen bed would have been ideal. With a few tweaks, it would be a nice get away. We really wanted to love it, but for the price plus fees we weren't impressed.
great, cozy cabin in perfect location. best if planning to spend most of time outdoors!
This property was gorgeous - so accessible from the Twin Cities. Really impressed with the outdoor fire pits - both gas and regular. The access to the river and house's kayaks and outdoor equipment was impressive. If you're planning on being outside most of the time, this place is perfect. If you're planning for a cozy/inside spot, this may not be your cabin. The beds are pretty poor and the kitchen is not very well stocked in terms of cooking pots/pans/cookie sheets, etc. There was also construction right across the river, which made it loud. That may have been a fluke, but it wasn't our favorite for a quiet getaway.
The pictures do not do it justice, my partner and I absolutely LOVED this darling cabin! The place is small but the way the rooms are built utilizes the space well, giving the illusion of a bigger cabin inside. We loved that the main area consisted only of the living space and the kitchen/dining, with no nonsense given to wasted space. We liked the seclusion of the neighborhood, and was relatively easy to find. The main town is only 15 mins away, so anything not already provided is quickly obtainable. Our dog Adrian has a hard time adjusting to new surroundings, but she took to the property surprisingly quickly and sat her lazy butt in front of the fireplace almost the entire time. So 5 stars all around, including from the dog! We will be looking to probably book this same property same time next year.
