"The continental breakfast was delicious, especially the biscuits and gravy! The bathroom was handicap friendly and that was a plus as well. The king sized bed was a little too soft for us but we made due. "
"Everything was great except Expedia put us down for only one night when I requested two nights. Treetops was most accommodating and arranged for the second night without any problems. "

"So it took us an embarrassing amount of time to figure out where check in was. Hint, it’ll feel like you’re in the wrong place but you’re not.
The staff at check in was helpful and efficient. I was taken aback at how beautiful the building and the views were. I imagine in its early days it was even more incredible. Vintage, high end ski lodge vibes.
With the map we were provided at checkin we found our lodge/room relatively easily. I was disappointed our room didn’t have its own balcony, but it was rather a balcony for that floor/side. Some of the balconies had rotted wood, so that was a little unnerving. Our room was in the Blue Spruce Lodge, 2nd floor. The stairway and hallways were beautiful and unique- full of character and charm. We checked out the bar with live music in the evening. It was mostly middle age guys there on golf trips. Not exactly a happening nightlife scene but it made a beautiful spot to see the sunset across the hilly landscape.
Our room was clean and comfortable. The lodge close to town. While it did have some quirks and could stand some updates, overall we really enjoyed our stay there. I prefer to stay somewhere with character, rather than a cookie cutter hotel. "

"This was first time using Vrbo and the entire process was simple from start to finish. The hardest part was selecting a place to stay. This was perfect got my 6 year old daughter and myself as a cabin for vacation. It's only 20 minutes, if that from Grayling which has most things a city would have. We spent time Disc Golfing at Hansen Hills, fishing at Glory Lake and overall just relaxing at the cabin. The cabin had high speed cable internet which made it that much easier for streaming movies and shows to fill in the dull times for my kid. The cabin had everything promised in the listing and was a very comfortable stay. My daughter was absolutely thrilled to stay in the cabin! The view from the living room and back patio area is phenomenal!!My daughter made me a necklace in school last year which I wear almost everyday. Upon check out, we looked high and low to make sure we didn't forget anything but as soon as we got home, I started looking for the necklace and couldn't find it. I contacted the number I was given for the hospitality and explained the situation. She contacted the cleaning person and was able to locate the necklace for me so they will be mailing it back to to cherish once again.Thank you Freshwater Vacation Rentals for the oppurtunity to rent this cabin and great work on the upkeep of the cabin as well. "
"This place is perfect small cabin up north can’t go wrong with this close enough if you need to go to some stores but still far enough away from everything. Definitely will be staying again."
