"All the staff was friendly. Especially Shelly in the breakfast area! Very nice and helpful...knows the area extremely well. The room was clean and we'll stocked with supplies. Pool are and hot tub were very nice. Clean. We will always stay here! Location was perfect! Close to downtown Gaylord, easy drive to Different lakes for kayaking and parks for exploring. Right off 75."

"We stayed here for 7 days: 4 adults, 2 children, and a dog. We had some initial hiccups about which unit we would be renting, but we worked closely with our host and got it sorted!We were there during the height of bad air quality (smoke from Canada), but we were fine inside until the air cleared up. (Some of the windows are hard to open/close.) There was a free-standing AC unit in the living room, which, in addition to ceiling and room fans, did well in cooling the house.The house was as described. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Access to Lake Martin was awesome! The hosts provided 2 kayaks.The maintenance team (cleaner and maintainer) was terrific. When we notified our host about a wet carpet from the previous guest, they arrived within the hour! Our stay was comfy and enjoyable. Our dog, our grandkids, and the adults had a great time swimming/boating in the lake."

"We arrived to 1935 Limberlost Ln, and never left the property until we checked out. It was the perfect spot for a quiet family vacation. My fiancé and I went with my daughters family, 2 adults and 2 grandchildren, and the accomadations were perfect, very thoughtfully appointed especially the small bunkroom, set up with cozy chairs for the littles, a TV and a GameCube. The only thing I looked for that I didn't find, was a cheese grater. They had everything! So well stocked!!! We grilled, we cooked, we baked!!! We kayaked, we used the paddleboat, we fished the kids played from morning to night on the little beach and in the water, my grandson called it the ocean. Realistically it is a small non motorized lake, that was perfect for what we wanted, quiet and peaceful. The only thing we didnt realize was that it is a community vibe, 3 buildings with 9 townhouse units that share the dock and beach, not quite as private as we thought but did not change how pleasant the stay was. Met some nice people during our stay. The only thing I can say is good job on townhouse!!! I could have literally left more than half of what I brought at home and it is very tastefully done! Not sure if we will make it back here again but if we do, I will definitely stay here again "

"If you're looking for a tranquil lakeside retreat, this is your place! We really enjoyed our stay at Retreat 27. The lake is gorgeous. We brought a 21-foot runabout boat, dropped in at the gravel ramp on the far end of the lake, the ramp is steep at the top, but gradually flattens out for an easy launch. On the lake, you must do water sports in a counterclockwise rotation around the lake. Kids and adults alike took turns on the provided Kayaks and stand-up paddleboards. The property grounds and driveway are a little rough, but easy to navigate. Inside the house is great - very comfortable furniture and beds, the kitchen is well equipped, and a gas stove top makes cooking easy. Our kids really enjoyed the billiards table and the arcade machines. Two of the upstairs rooms have a little stagnant airflow, so bring a fan. The large upstairs room is very cool with its separate split system. Overall a very nice spot to spend a few days"
