Excellent hotel, newly renovated. Good location with many restaurants and shopping within walking distance. I would highly recommend. Great shuttle service for Hillbilly Days events.

The staff was friendly and happy. The bed was comfortable. The room had ample plugs. There was no hair conditioner provided, just shampoo. The cover was missing from the ac/heating unit. There was not enough to feed all the guests at breakfast.

The property appears to be going through a renovation. Our room was nice and quiet. The bed comfortable. There is a train that passes and whistles. But, we didn't hear it in the middle of the night. There are plenty of food options and shopping in the area.

The only problem we had was the bathtub was holding water so when you was taking a shower you might as well took a bath..other then that had a great stay

Check in was easy and the staff were all very nice ... everything was clean ... Our room was very spacious and had a great view of a smoky mountain ... our room was very clean, we had plenty of towels, free wi-fi and free breakfast in the lobby at a really good rate ... if we ever decide to travel that way again, I'd definitely stay at The Brookshire again!

The bed suck, No closet or rod. No toilet cover, dirty hall way. Barn door for the bathroom? It didn’t fit right. if I could have lift I would have, I feel I should get a refund, or money off. Not worth $110.00 a night, plus tax! Thank-you, Rose Hamilton

I booked a room with 2 Queen beds, but was given a room with 2 double beds that were the most uncomfortable beds I believe I’ve ever slept in. We could hear EVERY step the people in the room above us took. I was actually nervous that the ceiling above us would cave in. With every step they took, the ceiling made unnerving cracking noises.

They lost my reservation. Luckily they had one non-smoking room left. But they couldn't give us a key because the battery in the door was bad so they had to walk is down to our room everytime we wanted in and unlock our door with a key.

The hotel was clean and the front desk personnel were extremely helpful. The continental breakfast was sparse, but good. The room was immaculate, and the fact that smoking rooms were available was a plus since we are both smokers

We booked a non smoking room. We were then told they were out and they had no way of changing that on the website. All other hotels booked due to a concert in the area ( we were visiting sick mother in hospital) I would think that even smoking rooms would be cleaned better. I ask for a deduction in price and that never happened... We will not stay again, will drive the extra time to the next town.

The room had a musty smell. There was no soap to shower with. Never had I ever seen bath towels and wash clothes so stained and dirty. Looked like they had been used and just put back up. 2 people did not get showers. Couldn’t park in front but there was no door for back entry. Parked next door.

I liked the property's location in that it was close to a number of shopping stores and food places. I didn't like the frequent passing of the trains (at least three times each night), and when persons moved in to the room above us, we heard the tv real loud and the walking/running of feet across the floor. The first few days were quiet before this occurred.

The location is excellent. Close to shopping, restaurants. The room appeared clean but it had an obnoxious smell. It went away after 30 minutes or so but was there each time we returned to the room. We assumed it may have been a disinfectant but couldn't be sure.
