"We stayed for a long weekend with our two miniature schnauzer’s and two teenage sons. We loved being right on the water, swimming, floating, fishing and just enjoying the water while sitting on the dock with a book. It is a little warm on August afternoons with no AC but there are fans and that was when we were outside mostly anyway. The kitchen has everything you need and bathroom was nice and updated. The stairs down to the boathouse are no joke but that is part of getting down to the water. The property managers were very responsive and the place was very clean. We had a great time and would love to come back!"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were celebrating our 40th college reunion with 4 friends all across the country. We loved Loons Hideaway. It was quiet, pretty to look out at the lake and had a big, beautiful kitchen and dining table we could sit and have long, relaxing conversations. We brought our own floaties and relaxed in the water 3 days for several hours. Kathy was very responsive when we asked questions. We would highly recommend this stay. It was clean and had amazing chairs out of the huge deck overlooking the water. Great place to sit and read a book or have lunch on the picnic table (with umbrella)."

"Had a nice stay, house was clean and had plenty of fans to keep us cool. Only issue was knowing where to park as area is an open lot around a few cabins with a driveway to cabin below. Area for parking is not clearly marked."

"We had an amazing stay at this Lake Tomahawk lake house! It had everything our family needed for a relaxing and fun vacation. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, giving everyone plenty of room to spread out.The dock was perfect for tying up our Jet Skis and rental pontoon, making it easy to enjoy the lake every day. We also loved having access to the paddle boards, grill, and campfire, which made for some great family memories. The game room was another huge hit and kept everyone entertained when we weren't out on the water.Our whole family—including our dog—absolutely loved the house and the beautiful lake. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and would definitely love to come back!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake home. The location on the peninsula provides gorgeous views and sunsets, in a peaceful setting. There is a sandy lake bottom near the shore great for swimming and enjoying the water. The home was comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed for a a relaxing family vacation. Communication with the host was outstanding - friendly, responsive, and helpful before and during our stay. Highlights: dock for our fishing boat, quiet lake, opportunity to rent pontoon boat, fishing, loons, eagles, games, big kitchen table for group dinners. We would definitely recommend this property and would happily stay here again."

"We absolutely loved this cabin! You could sit out on the porch and look right at the water. Then when you were ready you could walk right down to the water. We could hook our boat up to the dock and go for a ride any time of the day. The front enclosed patio was perfect to keep all the extra stuff we had brought. The shower had great water pressure. (We did have to bring our own towels but no big deal!) We had a blast!"

"It was myself and my 3 kids, perfect location far from all the craziness. Everything you could need is supplied to make your own meals have fires, lake is nice and quiet for some relaxing fishing, paddling, or swimming. I would definitely go back and/or recommend it to others."

"Lovely private getawayWe had a wonderful stay at this beautiful, private property. It truly is a lovely place. The only minor challenge we faced was regulating the temperature between floors, as the upstairs tends to trap heat, leaving the lower levels quite cold when the AC is running. Even with that, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here!"
