"The property is adequate. My primary grievance is the difficulty in corresponding with Ashley Cameron the owner of the property. She did not answer my request for how long it would take to receive back my security deposit (nor was said security deposit mentioned in 2 page contract) and it was only after I contacted VRBO that I got the money back minus the GST. The lack of response was frustrating and time consuming."

"We had never stayed in PEC but we will definitely stay here again. From start to finish, everything was excellent - the room was beautiful, amenities in the room were great and overall no complaints!"

"Property was easy to locate. Check-in was fast and friendly staff. We stayed at the Quaker section, second floor. Beautiful room with a sitting room, Sitting room had a desk, love seat and TV. Huge bathroom, separate bedroom with a king sized bed (very comfortable) full closet. There was also a mini fridge, coffee maker and real wine glasses. Little balcony with 2 Muskoka chairs. Had dinner at the Amelia's restaurant, food was excellent as was the service. There was even a lady playing a baby grand piano for us (very lovely). Had breakfast the next morning (included with our room). Again, very good food and service. Check-out was very fast and simple. All in all a very nice get away at this lovely property. Would definitely stay at Waring House again. The only negatives would be 1. Nice to have extra towels in the bathroom. The shower is in desperate need of a new shower head."

"We stayed here for a wedding and it was beautiful right by the water. The only issue we had was that we left for the day and our room wasn’t cleaned. Luckily, we are only there two nights so it didn’t really matter. The bees were also really bad this time of year so we couldn’t sit outside on the balconies without getting swarmed by them. Nothing the hotel could’ve done about that."

"The pictures, amenities and location were all the perfect fit for a weekend in the county. The house exceeded our expectations on all accounts as it was spacious, clean and thoughtfully prepared for every kind of group to enjoy the unique space indoors and out !"

Lakefront Cottage Near Sandbanks with Sunset View and Picton

"We had a wonderful family stay at this beautiful waterfront cottage. The lake views and sunsets were fantastic, and we especially enjoyed the screened sunroom, private dock, and peaceful surroundings. The nearby resort amenities made it a great location for travelling with children. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped, and its location was convenient for visiting Sandbanks and exploring Prince Edward County. Steve and Cindy were welcoming, responsive, and provided helpful information before and during our stay. We made some lovely family memories here and would happily recommend the cottage to others."

"Great amenities in the community, cottage was well stocked with dishes, appliances and such. Areas of improvement could be more comfortable seating, as the couches were small and not very comfortable. Also the outdoor chairs were not at all comfortable as the cushions were very thin. Often you had to use extra pillows to sit in them. Lastly having bath towels supplied would have been helpful."
