"Very cute boutique hotel! I really appreciated the art and little touches throughout. All the staff were super friendly, warm, and welcoming! Communication was prompt—the hotel reached out right after I made my reservation to confirm my ETA and ask if I needed to book a shuttle. Shout-out to the front desk team, especially Vincente and João, for their excellent recommendations on places to eat and visit, and for making accommodations to store my luggage and insulin. A special thank you as well to Màrcia and the restaurant staff for their warm interactions and great service! I will definitely be staying here again! Conveniently located within walking distance of Ponta Delgada’s main attractions. I appreciated the warm hospitality of this hotel!"

"This hotel is in an amazing location to enjoy the beach, or to enjoy the gorgeous pool and patio overlooking the beach. Wonderful beach and boardwalk walking, good restaurant on site and others that are walkable. The indoor pool and spa area are large and clean and lovely as well."

"DoubleTree Lagoa is truly amazing. The hotel front office staff were so kind and accomodating. The location was wonderful since it was a short drive to most destinations. As we were staying during the first week in Septemer, the outdoor pool was also open. It was beautiful as well as the bar/lounge area. We ate lunch one afternoon near the pool and it was truly relaxing. The breakfast buffet was a great way to start the day, lots of local cheese and bread. Love it when a hotel highlights their agricultural roots. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel in Lagoa."

"One of nicest hotels that i stayed. Originally I booked room with out terrace, but without any problem i was given room with terrace looking over pool area. Food is excellent, breakfast was delightful, great choice of hot and cold food. Restaurant is serving lunch and dinner and choice is good. Rooms are good size with nice bathroom. Overall hotel is in excellent condition,5 minutes from harbour and lot of restaurants in walking distances. Only little thing is there is not enough parking spaces it first come first served. "
