"The Neat Hotel is well situated and walking distance to the "Portas da Cidade" and great restaurants nearby. We arrived before check-in; process was quick and easy. Was told our room may be ready before check-in and offered to hold our luggage while we explored. When we got back the room was ready (earlier than expected). Room was clean and expected of a hotel room. Breakfasts were good and plenty of food. Staff was very nice and courteous. Always acknowledged our presence and answered any questions we had. Check-out was just as seamless and quick and again an offer to hold luggage. This is my second visit to the island and two different hotels. Each comparable and absolutely no complaints about either. I would definitely recommend Neat to anyone needing hotel accommodations in Sao Miguel."

"An absolute exceptional experience!! The food at the restaurants were phenomenal! The hot springs 24hrs as hotel guest was fabulous. The location was perfect to walk to lots of restaurants and bars. I recommend Restaurant family owned farm great beef and cheese -Queijaria Furnense Restaurant- Auththentuc volcanic cooked food - Tony’s Saca Rolhas Taberna - expensive dinner "

"The lobby area staff were so warm and welcoming. Overall everyone was kind other than one gentleman at the breakfast buffet on the day of our arrival. He was pretty rude to us but he was the only one and we never saw him again after that which was a plus. Breakfast buffet had a great selection everyday. We ate dinner at Terra one evening and it was excellent as well, the duck rice dish was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with wonderful views. The rooftop bar is a must visit as well. We never did get to check out the spa but will on our next visit. Thank you for a wonderful stay!"

"The hotel from the second we walked in was amazing. The staff, the room, the restaurant and bar everything was not only great, but exceptional. Everything was clean. The rooms are very nice and have all the amenities you could want. All of the staff are amazing and anyone staying there would be lucky. The dinner was amazing and staff were very attentive. The breakfast buffet was also great with a large selection of food and drinks. If we ever go back to the Azores, this will be the hotel we are staying at. We will also be recommending the hotel to any of our friends/family who travel there. I wish I could give the staff a 10/5 rating. "
