Easter Weekend 2023
We drove 3.5 hours to stay at the clean cozy cabin. The cabin was very clean and there was plenty of wood for wood burning fireplace. Gorgeous picturesque views of the lake and awesome sunsets. The queen bed was new and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and are looking to come back in summer to enjoy the lake! Thank you for sharing a great place with us!

The owners have everything needed for your stay. The cabin has tv and wi-fi and a washer and dryer. All very nice things to have with kids. It was wonderful bringing our dogs along on our vacation. The cabin was very clean and cozy. The swing was my favorite place to drink my coffee. Great Lake for fishing and kayaking.

Perfect family getaway
We enjoyed everything about this property and location. It something for everyone to enjoy— fishing, swimming, floating, walking and good restaurants with just a short drive into town. Our host was very communicative and friendly. Very convenient checkin and check out. We brought our family dog who loved the water and laying on the dock. Our family has enjoyed making memories at this perfect getaway on the lake!

Great country cabin in the wilderness
Kids loved the upstairs area for sleeping, the three of them slept comfortably, and we loved the privacy. Great little place on the lake, caught a few fish, enjoyed the kayaks and the boat. Overall great trip and will come back again.

We felt at home the minute we walked in the door. Cabin was very clean, host left a notebook with the restaurants in the area, menu from each. The lake is crystal clear, you can see the fish swimming from standing on the dock. We caught bass, sun fish, 1pike, crappie and some other kinds, so much fun, we catch and release so size not issue, just fun. Kayaks were fun, they also had a paddle boat and row boat. Beds were comfy, but we were very tired by end of each day and could have slept anywhere. Cabin was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, glasswear, plenty of towels, blankets. We wanted a few days away to relax and enjoy family and we got it! Saw foxes, mama deers w babies, if you pick up rocks along shore you can find crawfish! Great time would definitely go back again!

Relaxing & Comfortable for extended family vacation
My family really enjoyed staying here. It was very comfortable. Air conditioning was a surprise bonus and we're so glad we had it. Access to docks, swim raft, boats & equipment was fantastic. Your home was very welcoming, as we found just about everything we needed. Well-stocked kitchen and bath. Only downside was that the closets and dressers were already mostly filled with extra bedding, and with small bedrooms, there wasn't any place to put suitcases. This seems like an easy fix. Our son loved having the upstairs to himself! We look forward to booking again!

Incredibly Peaceful
It was SO peaceful. Nothing better than coffee on the deck in the morning looking at the lake. The place had everything a person could need. Super clean. Pet friendly as well. My only regret is not staying longer.

Super clean and so very well stocked
This was the cleanest cabin we’ve ever rented! It was obviously freshly cleaned when we arrived. It is also one of the best stocked cabins. There were lots of dishes, cookware, and supplies in the kitchen, plenty of towels and toiletries in the bathroom, and lots of sheets and blankets in the bedrooms. There were many movies and a few games as well. Furniture was also plentiful with ample seating for everyone. The lake is gorgeous in the winter and I enjoyed a nice stroll around checking out the ice fishing. Oh yes - The wi-fi was good enough to keep four phones, a tablet, and a computer all running! Great place to stay with a very communicative - but not intrusive - host.

Winter Getaway
Love coming up to this cabin. The wife and I spend a few days up here so I can go ice fishing and she can sit by a fire reading a book. The cabin is perfect for our few days up there and the surrounding area is beautiful to drive through.

Great cabin on a beautiful lake
We had a great week up north! This cabin had everything we needed. My boys loved swimming and jumping off the pier and raft. It was great having the kayaks and boat available! There is a nice firepit and a patio table on the porch which we loved for eating outside. Inside the kitchen is stocked with anything you need and there is wi-fi and streaming on the tv for rainy day movies. We loved our stay!

A very relaxing vacation.
The home was very nice. It was well furnished and it was very clean. The beds were comfortable as was all the furniture. Our daughter and her husband joined for two nights. We went atving on the nice trails in the area. The local establishments served very good food. We did a lot of fishing mainly for panfish. Fishing was great off the very ample dock system. This home was way better than staying at a resort. The location and neighbors were friendly and quiet. We would recommend for any family or two couples.

Beautiful, comfortable, with great fishing!
Fantastic cottage with every amenity you'd want. I caught a 16" bass and many perch from the dock... a whole school of them parked themselves right there in the shallows! We heard frogs chirping every dusk and saw/heard loons every day, diving just 20 yards or so from the shore. S'mores and campfires, sitting in the bench swing, grilling steaks... everything was perfect: there was so much more to do than we could squeeze into a long weekend! The dog enjoyed lounging in the back yard, and was so excited to see deer on our walks. We were super happy with our stay, and we hope to come back for a longer visit next year so we can make use of the kayaks, motor boat, etc! A few small suggestions to make a fantastic cottage visit even more amazing: (1) a map of the nearby trails would be a great thing to include! (2) a simple instruction on the wood stove could be helpful (specifically whether the flue lever opens left or right). (3) Maybe add an extra HDMI cable to the TV, in addition to the DVD player, so folks can hook up their laptops on rainy days. Thanks for a great visit!

Everything you’d want in a lake house
Nice lake house with dock, firepit, and even a swing for the kids. Lake was still frozen, and the views were beautiful. Fire pit has a swinging grill contraption that is awesome for roasting brats over the coals. Comfortable beds, fully-stocked kitchen, and even a smart TV to keep everyone entertained between adventures. Would definitely stay here again!

So Relaxing!
Very clean and relaxing. Did a little ice fishing but probably spent more time bonding as a Dad, myself and stepson. Watched movies, went out once for supper and played pool. Beautiful place and beautiful views. Hoping to go again in September!

This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a vacation rental
I found a clean cabin, well stocked with firewood. The owners description was exactly what I got. That has not been the case in other places I have stayed. I will be referring others that I might know who want a quiet get away. The cabin is situated on the shoreline of a lake

Best Christmas ever!
We want to thank Jeff and Adria for renting us their amazing cabin. We have stayed in lots of hotels, airbnbs and vrbos, and we had never found a place so clean and welcoming to our family. We definitely want to stay again, our children ages 5,7, and 9 don’t stop talking about the cabin and the time they had there. If we could rate with more than 5 stars we would definitely would.

Absolutely fantastic cabin
Rented Jeffs property for my dad and I yearly ice fishing trip. The cabin was everything we needed plus more. Great amenities, wood stove and sleeping areas. Access to the lake was easy, and fishing was great in front of the cabin. My old man caught an 8 pound walleye just foot steps from the pier. Location is in a great area near bait shop and bars. We will be back!
