"The restaurant is excellent and the employees were fantastic. Carla and Fernando gave us the best service at breakfast and while we were at the pool last night, the servers made sure that we had great drinks cold beer and the view is spectacular up there. The pool is on the rooftop. I would highly recommend this property. We were supposed to leave today, but instead we decided to stay an extra two nights here. We live in Mazatlan half the time and in Reno Nevada half the time and this hotel definitely exceeded our expectations."

"This was my 2nd time staying at the Hotel Catedral and everything was very good. From the helpful and friendly staff, to the rooms, the underground parking, rooftop pool/bar and the buffet style breakfast were all good. Location was a big plus, close to the Malecon and lots of restaurants close by."

"Horrible reception on the tv. Wasn’t feeling well and wanted to stay in room a couple days and couldn’t watch tv cuz the service was awful. Smelt like drainage. The front desk clerk Andrea was very helpful. And Olga helped us get a rent a car. "
