"I stayed at the Dome Hotel for one night and really enjoyed it. The location was perfect, and my room was unique, clean, quiet, and beautifully laid out. Nicola, the owner, was extremely helpful and speaks excellent English. My only concern was the lack of an elevator—the hotel is on the second floor of a historic building, with about four flights of stairs. However, Nicola came at 7:00 a.m. to help me carry my suitcase downstairs, which I really appreciated. The airport transfer was excellent and cost €35. Overall, a great hotel, and I would definitely stay here again when visiting Catania."

Just 15-20 mins from airport and amazingly helpful, thoughtful front desk. Don't rush off from the airport - spend a couple of days here getting to know Catania first."

"Overall experience was very good. The suite was unusually decorated, large and clean. It was at the front of the hotel and there was some residual noise from the street. AC was good and housekeeping was efficient. It’s in a good location for Via Etna, Piazza Duomo and other spots and very close to a host of bars and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful when I needed to interact with them. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not in keeping with the style or ‘sense’ of the hotel. The restaurant struggled to keep with the demand of a lot of guests having breakfast at the same time. There was very little information about the services in the hotel. Nothing in the room or advertised around the hotel. The gym was very small."
