This is a quiet resort only a few minutes from a nice beach. You will find about ten well rated restaurants within a ten or fifteen minute walk. They serve a nice breakfast, with good options. If your looking for a quiet place to relax, swim and eat lacal food, this us a great spot

On a budget? Stay here. Staff are wonderful. We stayed during construction, that sucked. They took care of us well, including laundry and scooter. Breakfast buffet is worth the price.

Love this place

On Ong Lang beach away from the downtown area Vela Phu Quoc is a hidden gem for price and comfort. 50 yard walk to Ong Lang beach and nestled between all the expensive resorts is a perfect getaway. Large rooms with AC, mini fridge and t.v., bathroom with enclosed shower ( always has plenty of hot water), pool area, kind and friendly staff and some really nice resturants right down the road. You can take the free bus to go just about anywhere you'd like on the island. They can also help you to book tours and cabs. I cannot say I've had a more comfortable and economical stay anywhere.

Not the best hotel

I think we got one of the oldest room in the resort that had not been renovated. The room was big but really outdated. The beds are the hardest I have ever gotten in a hotel. I have showered in cold water a whole week because it was not possible to set the temperature right. It was ether to cold or burning hot. The door into the room kept rattling, making sound every time the wind was blowing. We had to put a nightstand in front of the door to keep it quiet. The breakfast is limited to eggs in different ways, pancakes, some bread, two different hot dishes and some fruits. The juice is warm and the coffee is not good. On the positive side the resort is in a fantastic location and only a 3 min walk from the beautiful beach. There is also nice restaurants in the area and only 20 min by car to the night market in town. The personal at the hotel was helpful when we asked for help.

Bra och prisvärt litet hotell

Mysigt mindre hotell perfekt för familjen. Rena rum, helt ok frukost (riktigt goda pannkakor) men väldigt hårda sängar. Ligger väldigt mysigt med flera restauranger runt om. Lite trafik i området vilket passar barnfamiljen. Väldigt nära en superfin strand. Rekommenderas

Vi hade bokat en svit men det var bara ett större rum och säng i övrigt var rummet väldigt tråkigt och fult Ganska sköna sängar men fruktansvärda kuddar som var av skumgummi dom tryckt in i fodralet Frukosten var bedrövlig, kaffet jätte tunt. Ibland fanns marmelad och i bland inte, och bara torrt vitt bröd. Personalen trivdes inte och slutade jobba där vilket resulterade i att vi gäster fick plocka bort disken själva och de få som arbetade hann inte med servicen.

Отель хороший. Но контингент отдыхающих напрягает

+ Отель -самый ближний к морю из бюджетных цен. Территория небольшая, зеленая, неплохой бассейн. Хорошие завтраки. Чисто убирают. - отель обслуживает пакетных туристов из России. Нам не повезло. Была толпа земляков с кучей маленьких (в колясках) вечно орущих детей, на которых родители не обращали никакого внимания. Это было ужасно. Поэтому, если вам необходим ОТДЫХ выбирайте другой отель, или запасайтесь берушами. Ощущение было, что мы находимся в детском саду, а не в отеле. Просите второй этаж. Это избавит вас от грохота и крика над головой во время детских ,,игр,,... Весь остров Фукуок -одна большая помойка. Поэтому приготовьтесь к другой реальности, выходя за пределы чистого красивого отеля... Море на Онг Ланге чище, чем в городе, заход плавный, песочек. Но маску брать не стоит, если вы планируете только прибрежный снорклинг.

Kurzer Aufenthalt zu fairem Preis

Leider hat uns das Hotel nicht überzeugt und wir haben nur eine Nacht dort verbracht. Zimmer ist ausreichend und sauber. Wir hätten ein Zimmer am Pool. Die Terrasse ist im Prinzip der Eingang und läd nicht zum Verweilen ein, da nur eine kleine Steinbank dort steht. Das Frühstück war ok - das durchschnittliche Asienfrühstück. Zu dem Zeitpunkt als wir dort waren kam es leider dazu, dass der Strand derartig verdreckt war, dass es nicht angenehm war ins Wasser zu gehen. Inkludierte Liegen und Schirme am Strand gibt es nicht. Das Personal war duchrweg freundlich! Fußläufig waren wir aber in einem sehr guten Seafood Restaurant mit unbekanntem Namen.

Zimmer und Betten sind großzügig. Wird täglich geputzt und die wichtigsten Utensilien stehen auch zu Verfügung. Der Strand ist gepflegt und um die Ecke. Also im Ganzen ist das Hotel eigentlich toll, aber das Frühstück ist wirklich schlecht. Die Tischscurtings hängen halb runter, die Tische waren oft nicht gewischt und die Behälter und Kaffeekannen nicht richtig sauber. Das ist etwas was man leicht ändern könnte. Das Essen wird zur zweiten Hälfte der Frühstückszeiten kaum nachgefüllt. Es gibt Toastbrot und Butter. In den ersten 3 Tagen unseres 1wöchigen Aufenthaltes gab es wenigstens Marmelade, dann gab es die auch nicht mehr. Essbar waren die frischgemachten Pfannkuchen und das lieblos servierte Obst. Wirklich schade dass das Management sich nicht um die Herrichtung kümmert. Personal ist dort ausreichend vorhanden, standen oft zu viert hinter der Bar. Es wäre halt toll wenn sie die Tische von alleine wischen und man sie darum nicht bitten müsste. Ansonsten war das Personal an der Rezeption nett und Hilfsbereit. Wenn man die Missstände behebt, wäre es ein super Hotel, was man empfehlen könnte.

Das Hotel war im gesamten sehr toll! Die Mitarbeiter sind unglaublich freundlich, hilfsbereit und lieb. Der Pool war super und das Meer fast vor der Haustüre (der sauberste Strandabschnitt den wir auf der Insel gesehen haben). Das Frühstück war ebenfalls gut, für deutsche Standarts etwas dürftig aber ausreichend. Die Zimmer sind mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht, leider sind die Betten nur sehr unbequem. Spabereich ist gerade in der Aufbauphase.

Vi är mycket nöjda med val av hotellet och läget. Fin service och riktigt härlig frukost varje morgon. Närhet till de bästa stränderna och småstadslivet. Skulle starkt rekommendera kommande besökare att välja detta boende eller närliggande.

Gut gelegenes Budget Hotel

Einfaches ruhiges Hotel (Resort) zu einem günstigen Preis. Die Zimmer sind schlicht eingerichtet, bieten jedoch alles was man benötigt und sind sauber. Freundliches Personal das gut englisch spricht. Das Hotel liegt ruhig abseits vom Trubel etwa 300m vom wunderschönen Strand entfernt. In der Nähe gibt es zahlreiche Restaurants und kleine Shops. Uns wurde ein kostenloser Shuttle zum Flughafen respektive zum nächsten Hotel offeriert.

Todellisuus on aivan jotain muuta kuin Hotels.comin kuvaus ja kuvat kertovat. Kuvauksissa ja kuvien mukaan kyseessä olisi rauhallinen hotelli uima-altaineen, mutta olimme keskellä rakennustyömaata. Rakenteilla on yksi lisärakennus, itse asiassa koko alue tuntuu olevan yhtä rakennus työmaata, äänistä päätellen. Tullessamme hotellin henkilökunta kertoi urakoinnin alkavan aamulla klo 7:00 ja loppuen klo 17:00, välissä parin tunnin tauko, mutta usein jatkui iltaan asti. Hotellialueella oli paljon rakennusroinaa ja lisärakennus tehdän uima-altaan viereen, joten altaalla oli hirveää meteliä, rakennuspölyä ym. Aamupalalla soi ysäri diskomusa aivan liian kovaa. En nähnyt varatessani missään mitään mainintaa rakennustöistä. Olisi ollut reilua mainita hotels.comin sivuilla asiasta ja myydä alennuksella hotellia, mutta näin ei ollut. On kohtuutonta myydä hotellia täydellä hinnalla keskelle rakennustyömaata. Kaiken kaikkiaan järkyttävää. Ainoastaan siivous- ja respan henkilökunta ansaitsee kiitokset. Menisinkö uudelleen, en varmasti..noh ehkä voisin jossain tilanteessa harkita, jos tietäisin, että rakentaminen on varmasti saatu päätökseen. Paratiisisaari, hah hahhaa..koko saarelle rakennetaan koko ajan uusia hotelleja, joten meteliä riittää vielä kauan aikaa...

Amazing stay :)

We had a great 6 nights at Vela 😀 complimentary airport transfers both ways were flawless, breakfast was diverse each morning, bed was comfortable, air con strong, room clean. All staff were helpful and friendly, the stroll to the beautiful beach only took a few minutes, wifi was good, pool was refreshing. Lots of eating places nearby, mini mart was close, as was an ATM. The morning we checked out we had an early flight so they packed us a breakfast box each consisting of bananas, bacon and egg toastie and a bottle of water, this was a pleasant surprise :) We would definately stay here again.
