Standard rooms with pool access within a few steps
First of all, this hotel is far from the night market (4km)and long beach(about 7km). I will attach the screenshot that shows where exactly it is.
I read reviews and most of the complaints were about its location or map showing not correctly. So true. It is really far from things and thought most of the parts were google map's fault and rest is that hotel didn't really try to fix it by adding a map or so.
Anyway, free pickup at the airport by a nice pickup truck with a well uniformed driver was impressive. People at hotel, Ron, Hang, Luk(sorry if this is wrong), Ngi, Hao, and But, were very friendly. A good size of nice and clean pool seemed well cared even though I was the only customer for 3 nights.
The room was quite spacious and unique setup with a shower and 2basins at the backyard. It was really clean so i didnt mind but i wished they had included a basin in the room so i didn't have to go out everytime i washed my hands or brushed teeth.
Hotel provides a free bicycle so I pedaling around and found a motorbike rental shop with new bikes only 140,000 dong/day. After a 10 long minute of communication trial, they agreed to bring the bike to my hotel. Since I got my bike the location didn't matter anymore and the traffic wasn't as crazy as other big cities in vietnam so just keep your speed under 40km/h with a helmet.
they prepared an evening bbq with so much food which puzzled me then locals filled up tables later evening. I tried some and they were good.
Nice new facility just off the highway, very noisy
Facility looks great, everything is new. Walls are so thin you can hear everything in the adjacent rooms. When a phone rings you have to check if it's yours or next door, you can hear TV and conversations as if you were in the room with them. Beds are brand new but rock hard... though this has been pretty consistent in Vietnam. Staff was as helpful as they could be, very little English spoken by anyone which made things difficult... Such as ordering a coffee. There is a lighted football field directly beside the property and the front lobby turns in to a BBQ restaurant every night, which both draw a lot of locals and noise. Showed up and wanted to see the beach, 3KM away and they have bikes you can use... But only 1 was available when we checked in and there was only 1 other guest at the time. The closet beach is Ong Lang which is so covered in garbage we walked right back out to the hotel to go somewhere else. It really is pretty isolated, right on the main highway on the north west coast. Moving to another resort today, a lot of better options in Phu Quoc.
Expedia website says free one-way airport transfer included but that was lost in translation with the staff and we were never picked up and ended up in a cab. Address provided on Expedia is incorrect so it ended up to be a pricey cab ride on an island where everything is already significantly inflated compared to everywhere else we've been in Vietnam.
There was no spa and no gym which it said when we paid for the room. It was on a big road in the middle of nowhere, so I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay there without a moped. Taxi to the beach around 10-15 min, taxi to city around 20 min. Bathroom and shower was outside in a tiny "backyard garden".

Nice place to stay, but not close to beach/ market
I raised the issue to Expedia before staying that the location isn't matched to where it is in reality, but never had any solution on the misleading information that we had to stay here in the end. The address has been corrected but the map is still misleading. It was unpleasing on Expedia customer service that no response has been given that we had no choice to change hotel.
I stayed here for few nights that the place is not bad, but we had to rely on taxi to get anywhere. The overall experience on the staying is positive except unfortunate customer service from Expedia. The staffs are very friendly and helpful, plus the food are good if you like local dishes.

Poor management
Every staffs were friendly and very new clean villa but never come back. We asked about Free Airport Transfer & Motorcycle Rental in top season 2 times by e-mail in advance, but couldn't get replied. Finally we telephoned and got reservation for transfer, and got confirmation that we don't need to book bike in advance even if it was during new year holiday. But actually we couldn't rent it because of fully booked. Furthermore, when we parked rented bike (we get it at the middle of town, by ourselves) and hung helmets at night, they were gone at the morning. We asked about that to reception and he answered that they will come back in 5 minutes. We asked him why and who, and he just explained "a security did". In fact, a staff borrowed our helmets under the permission of a security guard. We could understand partly if they were stolen by someone who came from other site, but totally couldn't understand why he, the security guard, thought that it is acceptable to give customer's belongings to a staff. Moreover, the receptionist suddenly went off while talking about this matter, and a security personnel who couldn't speak English came to apologize instead. What's more, he tried to give someone's helmets to us while waiting for ours. No one had a sense of responsibility. We were really disappointed.

Not close to the beach
I booked this hotel because the Wotif map showed the location to be about 300 meters from the beach. When I get there, it was no where near the beach. It was kilometers from the beach, to get to the beach it cost 70000 vnd by taxi (which are hard to get in that area). When I asked the hotel staff about the fact that on the map it showed the hotel close to the beach they responded with "that hotel was full so we moved you here". I later found out that the location shown on the map was for the sister resort, Sen Viet Resort. I would not have booked this place if I had known where it was.
I also tried to contact Wotif about this but no response. No response to emails, I could not get through using the website and the email contact I used last year when there was a problem with my booking did not work. Last year, when I had a problem with my booking, I received an email response within hours on the busy weekend before Xmas. Wotif, what has changed? Very disappointing!!!! Wotif contact me!
