L'hotel est bien sans plus! Très petit hôtel de plusieurs petits bungalows de chaque côté d'un sentier menant à la plage. Arrivée au bout du sentier, le restaurant au bord du golf de Thaïlande est exceptionnellement bien situé. Les déjeuner inclus sont bien, mais on a droit qu'à une portion et un petit breuvage ou café. Le restaurant sert un très bonne cuisine à prix raisonnable. La plage de l'hôtel est petite, elle est adjacent sur une plage plus longue et qui n'est pas entretenu du tout. On y retrouve malheureusement pleins de déchets transportés par la mer. J'avais opté pour cette hôtel pour faire du snorkeling mais j'ai été très déçu de la mauvaise visibilité dans l'eau malgré des journées de mer calme. J'ignore si c'était la période de l'année qui provoquait cette eau trouble( mi-mars ). Les scooters à louer très abordables 120,000dg(

We stayed in a bungalow at Free Beach Resort. For the price we payed I thought it was great value. The small beach is nice, location is great, room was large and the restaurant was inexpensive and good.

Hotellet ligger lite avsides så det är lugnt och skönt men ändå så nära andra att det lätt går att ta sig till andra restauranger och liknande. Personalen hade ibland svårt att förstå engelska, men inget som ställde till några större problem för oss.

The Worst in Phu Quoc

Without joke, i have never in my life stayed in such a disgusting hotel. Raw sewerage coming into the bathroom, super aggressive staff, everything or anything you want is extra payment, even ice in your drink, it is a complete sham of a place, and they just do not care what so ever about your complaints... in my stay over half the guests checked out and rebooked else where, avoid unless you want a serious illness and to ruin your break on a great island.

Ei varmastikaan huonoin saaren tämän hintaluokan vaihtoehdoista, mutta pettymys. Lähdimme toiseen hotelliin ensimmäisen yön jälkeen, vaikka olimme maksaneet viikosta. Hotellin ranta on ahdas ja roskainen. Aamiainen täysi vitsi, hintaan sisältyy yksi annos ja juoma eli pitää valita juoko kahvia vai mehua. Munakkaan kaverina oli kuiva sämpylä. Vastaanotto ei ole öisin auki ja iäkkäiden aasialaisten seurue ryyppäsi ja huusi pitkälle yöhön. Äänieristys huoneissa olematon. Ylipäätään kannattaa miettiä onko Phu Quoc oikea matkakohde, sillä saarelle rakennetaan lisää resortteja, vaikka nykyiselläkään jätehuolto ei toimi. Jätevedet päästetään mereen ja roskat kasataan tien varsille, josta joku ne ehkä polttaa.

Hyggelige bungalows ned til vandet.

Hyggelige bungalows. Vi blev opgraderet til havudsigt, hvilket var meget smukt med solnedgang. Sød hjælpsom personale. Massage på stranden. Hvis man går enten til højre ell. venstre er der lange gode strande, lige ud for er der lidt klippet. Der bliver bygget på grunden ved siden af, men Vi var heldige at være der omkring det kinesiske nytår, hvilket betød at de ikke arbejdede. Maden var lidt kedelig, men der ligger flere gode restauranter i nærheden.

Härlig trädgård och stor fin bungalow. Stort badrum med bra tryck i duschen. Skön mjuk säng! Halvbra wifi, det försvann ibland. Kylskåp med frysfack som var på trots att el-nyckeln till rummet drogs ur, bra!! Många solsängar vid stranden, tyvärr fullt ganska ofta pga utomstående som fick ta sängar om dom åt på restaurangen. Restaurangen var ok. Vänlig personal. Nära till andra strandrestauranger. En lång backe att gå uppför till huvudgatan men där fanns affärer, pubar, restauranger, taxi mm

Very good value for money

Pros: - Easy access to the beach - Lots of incline chairs on the beach for sunbathing - Rooms had a good standard, everything was clean and freshly repainted - Really quiet part of the beach, just a few minutes walk from the restaurants area Cons: - The beach view is great. But looking in other directions it's just vacant lots (waiting to be exploited) filled with debris - The language barrier, communication in English is hard, not unique for this hotel, but it does detract from the overall score - They leave broken things lying around, like umbrellas or incline chairs that are garbage What you get A quiet beach experience with rooms with nice standard for a very reasonable price. Within walking distance of any of the restaurants and nightlife. If you're willing to squint a little while walking the premises and enjoy the beach you will have a great time. What you don't get A "paradise experience" where there's a garden, a pool, a tennis court and a white cloth restaurant. To get that you need to pay at least double and book one of the hotels a few hundred meters to the north. When choosing a Phu Quoc hotel Some hotels have private parts of the beaches, or semi-private where you can rent an incline chair. But the majority of the beach is free for all. The town is pretty boring (and taxi is cheap) This hotel is situated on the beach where you want to book a hotel

Nice small and green hotel

I stayed 8 nights there, sweet and small hotel. I liked that they had a lot of plants in their yard, everything looks green. The whole island seems to be a construction site so i was happy to escape from that and feel that i have some nature around me. Staff is friendly, the room was cleaned every day, and they have a small restaurant attached where you can spend the day on the beach. When you walk down the beach you'll have plenty of choice of other restaurants, fish BBQ Jojo Beach, the The Spice House at Cassia Cottage, to mention two good ones. And many bars. I'd definitely come back.

Bungalow resort on the beach.

The resort which consists of bungalows is 2 years old. The location is good although the road access which is dirt road/track is not the best particulary at night, although I believe this will be fixed soon. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the staff, helpful and friendly. There is work going on around the resort to improve the facilities. Overall good value for money and we enjoyed our stay.

une bon hôtel

L'hôtel est très bien dans l'ensemble. Les chambres sont propres et agréables. Le jardin est superbe. Le personnel est très serviable. Le restaurant est bon et pas cher. Il est dommage que le restaurant au bord de la plage ne soit pas mis en valeur. Idem pour la plage : beaucoup de déchets autour de l'hôtel.

it's such a nice property, if they could clean up the beach where guests are the majority of their stay it could be so much more. Also, I know it's not their fault, but there is so much construction going on around them. It's a horrible site and contributes to the mounds of trash around the hotel.

Fin de voyage à Free Beach

Séjour de 5 jours (6 nuits). Personnel serviable en général. Superbe chambre (bungalow), calme. Belle vue sur la mer de la "salle à manger" direct sur la plage (chaises et tables pas toujours droites à cause du sable). Bon repas mais un peu cher si on comparé aux restaurants à proximité. Site même des bungalows très bien, mais site de construction et déchet +++ tout autour et à l'entré (très discrète).

trip to Phu Quoc

Beach area in front of the bungalows is quite small and full of big rocks, we need to go further down either to the right or the left side to swim. hotel offers 1 complimentary bottle of water on the 1st night only but advertises on hotels.com as "complimentary bottle of water" next to the rate per day. That is confusing. The sewer in the bathroom is smelly. the owner said they are working on this problem. Need to get a cab to go downtown. Customer service is good.

Nice, staff is friendly.

We had a comfortable vacation. Resort is clean, nice. Staff is friendly, beach is beautiful but the way come to resort is so bad, especial night not have light and the price is still high a little.
