"Beautiful spot but the room had mold everywhere (curtains, walls, ceiling) and there was black mold in the shower. Breakfast was ok but nothing was labeled and as a vegetarian I wasn’t sure what had meat or not. We ended up checking out early "

"This hotel was nice, definitely a retreat likes it’s name. Out of the main part of town. The area around it was a little confronting to a solo traveller however we had a small group of 3 that managed it fine. Room was really nice, only got worried when there were 2 leech in the bottom of the shower in the morning"

"The hotel is a short walk from the main drag with lots more dining options and sights but despite this, it is a lovely hotel with kind and accommodating staff. Our room was crazy spacious and bright, and had a lovely private deck. The breakfast buffet was diverse and filling. The area was quiet and felt very safe."

"I had a great stay. Everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Rooftop infinity pool was perfect, and was a bonus to have all to myself, great view of the mountains and some rice fields blowing in the wind. My room also had a great view of the mountains, large windows even in the bathroom. Great location just outside of town (5 minute grab ride to town) yet very close to some attractions, was a very nice break from the chaos. Wish I stayed longer, but i just used it as a stop over before an 8 am train ride the next day. Breakfast was great, with lots of options and fresh fruit. Staff was going above and beyond to make sure I had enough to eat before my 11 hour train ride. Overall a wonderful place "

"The location is in the well known from locals. Short distance of walks to Hoa Lu water river. Same type of breakfasts every morning, but it’s good. Beautiful tourist in the nearby area."

"Our stay here was good. The room was lovely and spacious. The breakfast was okay, if you didn’t get there early the food definitely wasn’t as fresh as it could be. We had a big issue with noise. There is a bar right next to the hotel which blasted music and had people screaming into microphones into midnight. We asked to switch rooms but were told it would be the same anywhere in the hotel. So beware of that. As someone who likes a quiet area, this hotel didn’t meet that expectation. But we were also there on a weekend, so maybe that was why. "
