THIS FABULOUS ground level, 4-bedroom, 2-bath, 1800 sq ft home with its own private pool and hot-tub. --- The place comfortably sleeps 8 at 2 per bedroom --- On a case by case basis up to 10 guests are allowed by use of bunkbed in computer room. --- The open-concept living space features a kitchen with granite counter tops including breakfast bar. A casual dining area makes this a great space for entertaining. You have a separate office with WiFi and computer and 3 HD TVs. Just move in and enjoy the luxurious space.
ONLY PAY FOR ENERGY YOU USE --- GAS & ELECTRIC METERS READ BETWEEN BOOKINGS --- A reasonable energy charge of $7 per day is included in the rental price ---- any amount above $7 per day will be with held from damage deposit --- my property attracts wide range of guests like; a motor cross racing team of 4 leaving early each morning & returning in the evening that hardly use any energy --- to our family of 10 including 4 grandkids, that insist on a 95 degree pool temperature during winter & we don't mind paying approximately $30 per day for a priceless treat. --- last year my gas bill ranged from $16 to $500 per month & my electric bill between $100 & $450 per month --- Letting our guests be responsible on what they desire & what they can afford.
COST OF HOUSE CLEANING --- In trying to providing a clean house to my guest & yet keeping cleaning fee as reasonable we can --- the last guest in my opinion left a very clean house --- the bedding was washed & folded on each bed --- the towels were washed & folded --- the dishes were washed & put away --- guests like that should be rewarded --- how?, is what I am having a problem with --- cleaning/maid that cleaned the place last were not committing to come as I requested --- as I done before with no complaints from guest, I was in the cleaning process, when I decided to phone the cleaning/maid service I used for several years without any complaints which was ended in the fall of 2018 --- three maids showed up, their boss Paty being one of them. & quoted me a price of $160 per cleaning, up $40 from 2018 --- my request to come up between us with a cleaning service fee to
somehow reward the guests that leave a clean house, fell on deaf ears --- Yes we did go through our inventory, but no consideration or credit was given for a clean house. --- Oh well, at that time I decided to plead to cleaning company to hold the cleaning fee to $140 per cleaning --- REGUARDLESS IF THE CLEANING FEE IS $140 OR $160, I DECIDED TO ONLY CHARGE MY GUESTS A CLEANING FEE OF $140 --- Any cleaning fee charged above $160 will be passed on to guest. --- Will keep working hard to control my costs, but have to go with what works to keep the house clean.
Getting around: Avondale is 20-25 minutes west of downtown Phoenix. It is a central location for travel to tourist attractions. For the avid golfer, there are several golf courses nearby, including the Wigwam Hotel and golf course. 1.5 miles away is the Coldwater Springs golf course. The property is 7 miles away from the Phoenix International Raceway where they have NASCAR races twice per year. The Cardinals football team and Coyotes hockey team play in Glendale which is less than 15 minutes away. There is a Wildlife World Zoo very close perfect for kids. Multiple grocery stores and other amenities such as pharmacies, Starbucks, and Blockbuster nearby. Shop at Estrella Falls, Westgate, Desert Sky Mall and Arrowhead on west Bell Road 20 minutes away on the 101 freeway. Tons of antiquing nearby. Also walking and biking trails near property.
Why our location: The heated pool is a big draw with its under water colored lights, fenced-in area, and the ability to swim at night. The hot tub is a great addition for relaxation. Avondale is the best location to stay in the Phoenix metro area for access to other state destinations such as the Grand Canyon. There are baseball training facilities nearby, where you can get up close and personal with the major league players and watch them train and play. Watch multiple teams train and play at different sites during training season, end of Feb, March, and start of April. Once you come to our location once, you will definately come back!!!
Who is most suited for this vac home?: This property is perfect for families with kids that want to experience what Phoenix has to offer. The west side of phoenix is much more affordable than the Scottsdale area. Stay in style at this location and save money to spend on all of the great activities nearby. Wheel-chair friendly with not a single step or stair.
