There was really nothing to like. There were roaches in our room. Also the bathroom was very dirty. The only plus was it was pet friendly.

Please do not stay here!
This place is right out of a scary movie. So many bugs in the room, filthy sheets, cigarette holes in the coverlets, power outlets pulled out if the wall. The only thing this place has going for it is a helpful desk attendant. We arrived late Friday night, so had no where else to go and had to stay the night. We checked out first thing the next morning, cutting our stay, and, sadly, our visit with our Penn State child, a day short. The pictures do not show the current state of this place.

We had to leave this property in the middle of the night due to cockroaches EVERYWHERE and pay for another night at a different hotel. This place is DISGUSTING and needs removed from expedia.

Looked like everything was set up for breakfast but when I went in the morning, no food was put out. This was around 9:45 am. Most places would still have breakfast available at that time. Room was comfortable and clean but the bath towels were so thin they were almost like dishtowels.

DO NOT STAY HERE!! It is filthy, smelly and cockroach infested! The towels and toilet were dirty, the bathroom was moldy and the thirty year old mattresses were stained and uncomfortable. There was no soap and only a third of a roll of toilet paper. If it wasn’t 1am when we arrived we would have got back on the road. In hindsight we would have been better of sleeping in our car. This place should be condemned and shut down.

Inexpensive- decent old hotel
It is Very old hotel but the room was clean n comfortable. If you are looking for a very inexpensive hotel option when traveling on a budget and need just an overnight stay this hotel is good for that

Poor Place
The hallway reaked of smoke from the rooms that allowed it. The check in was delayed by us arriving a little late but it was before 10 pm. There was a cockroach in the room. There was no room darking shades and the window was rather large. My daughter was in fear for bed bugs in the room. So she did not sleep well. The only good part of this stay was the Scheetz station right next door. I will never stay at this motel ever again.

Misplaced my reservation, smelled of smoke, no continental breakfast as advertised, dirty floors, hair all over showers walls, toilet had stool on it, needs remodel, under construction, no soap, towels had holes, sheets were well worn and stained

Front desk clerk was very nice and helpful. Easy check in. The inn is on the dirty side. I knocked over my water I was drinking and mopped the carpet up with a towel and the towel turned brown. The sheets and towels were clean and the bathroom fairly clean (there were a few hairs in the sink). We were only there to sleep for a Penn State game weekend so the price was much better than staying in town. It was nice and quiet.

This was a terrible stay. One room smelled moldy - the other had no TV remote available so you could only watch chanel that was last used - SYFY- Felt bad for staff - but really - this place should close until renovations are complete- the on-line pictures do not match what you get

Hotel was very old and in run down condition. No elevators, our room was on the second floor and down the end of the hallway there was all caution tape up indicating do not enter. Did not know what happened there. Room was very old and had old TV in it with no remote control and room smelt very musty.

This motel seems to be half section eight housing and half guests. Room smelled like smoke, body oder with a touch of butterscotch. Slept with one eye open and was out of there in the AM

The hotel was very dated (think 1970s). I don't need much and did not expect much for $100 during Penn State football season. This place was about 30 mins from campus. However, the condition of the property itself was bad. Our shower did not work, our room smelled bad, and the front desk was not manned after 10 pm so no one to call to report a problem. Suprisingly this place was full.

Staff was nice and welcoming. Our room was what we expected from the price and pictures. It was a convenient drive to PSU for a football game and Sheetz being right next door was also convenient.

A place to sleep if you cannot find somewhere else
The listing is incorrect saying the desk is open 24 hours. The desk closes at 10:30 pm. That said, the desk clerk and owner were able to accommodate my very late arrival without complaint. The breakfast is just coffee. The place is a very old motor lodge from the 50’s with very few maintenance updates. The sink faucet dropped and the mini fridge clicked. There was a nasty stain in the carpet of some sort by the mini fridge. The beds were reasonably comfortable considering the lower-end mattresses. The linens were clean. The doors were old fashions key lock type that had seen better days. There was passable WiFi.
