The price was right for this three bedroom townhouse a couple miles outside UPenn. The cleaning lady was leaving as we were arriving and was friendly. A few specific things to note about this spot:1) The toilet began overflowing after the first flush and a plumber was called but not available that day. We all had to use one toilet and had to remove water from the floor that had overflowed and started running into the bedrooms.2) There is no living area to hang out. There is a kitchen with some uncomfortable flimsy chairs and the bedrooms.3) The kitchen cooking utensils were limited. And no body wash/shampoo/conditioner was provided. You’ll want to bring your own if you stay. 4) In the basement bedroom, at night there is a bright light from outside that shines directly in with only some blockage by the blinds. Bring something to cover the eyes. Noise was pretty minimal from outside the home.5) The host was very responsive to questions which was appreciated. 6) There is nowhere to hang out outside.7) The beds were quite comfortable. This is a good spot if you don’t mind having a more minimal experience and don’t mind the commute to city center.
