"This is potentially a perfect place to stop over. Close to the motorway and close to the beautiful town of St.Flour. But we were sold a breakfast on arrival and no one turned up to prepare it until 8:10 by which time many guests were leaving annoyed that they had not had breakfast and were now late to start their journey. I saw a very young person arrive at 8:10. She was unable to give me a card refund and said she would post me a cheque. I don't expect to see the cheque. The coffee...

I had a little difficulty finding the castle since I had incorrectly set my sights on the village of Perpezat. "Pretty hotel in a nice location but the rooms are budget and the noise in the morning unnaceptable. Squeezing a few more rooms in the basement under the kitchen was not appreciated. 5:30 staff movements on a Saturday while on vacation mean we would t use again. Not recommended for a quiet stay. "

"This place was wonderful! It was spotless, comfortably warm (early spring), breakfast was great. The owner is absolutely delightful. There was even a place to park the car. "We had a one night stay and we would stay in this hotel again! What a great find! Cute room and perfect for a family. Kids enjoyed the pool. The facilities in the room were great: shower over bath, separate toilet, mini fridge, shutters. Lovely and clean. Lovely view. We didn’t have breakfast as we had had a big meal the previous night in a lovely local restaurant."
