Room above expectations for price point. Very clean. Very comfortable bed and linens. Wifi fine.
Surprisingly quiet given location aside from my window just above bar. Loud talking both nights until after 1100. But slept very well.
Just a minor comment. Curtain very difficult to pull to block lights. Suggest a blackout blind. Would be so much easier.

"What a lovely place and hotel. This is not a Hilton. That’s what we loved. The room was huge. Ours supported with 12 inch wooden beams.
The underground pool is such a surprise. Perfect for a late dip or a way to start your day in the supplied robes and slippers.

"Gwenn at reception was amazingly helpful and courteous. I can’t say enough good things about her. Took time to work through problems with Hertz car rental. Room was clean and comfortable. My second stay in a Brit Hotel and will use them wherever possible. Rooms are basic but well maintained and have everything I need. Be aware reception closed at 2300. "
"Staff were friendly and that's about the only good thing I can say, the carpets in the common areas are filthy, there was no hot water for a shower and we were woken up at 1am by loads of drunk guests shouting. I got about 3 hours sleep. Wouldn't recommend."

"We stayed as a family of 3 and the hotel was lovely. The couple were amazing and could not do enough for you. We have travelled around Brittany and these beds were the most comfy of them all. The 1st impressions walking out the hotel wasn’t great as a lot of closed places. But just 5 minutes walk you are near the cathedral and beautiful surroundings and had a lovely Indian meal. Could not recommend this place enough . The breakfast was amazing and the facilities made you feel at home. "
