It was great to relax in the pool at the end of the day and the garden is pretty and well maintained. We would stay here again if we returned to Guadeloupe."

"A fun and unique experience in Guadeloupe. We enjoyed the Creole style house with a view of the ocean and pool. We generally enjoyed the openness but, as others have said, you should bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper due to the evening noises from bugs, roosters, etc. Bug spray is helpful but the mosquito nets do a great job of keeping bugs away at night. "Great place to stay. Philippe, the host was kind and responsive to our requsts. Even drove halfway around the island to get us coffee filters. Be sure to get a car though, as even though my wife and I did walk to and from the villa into town a couple of times, it is a steep trek! There are no taxis in Drshaies"

"We had very pleasant stay. The house and location are really good. The house is very well equipped for beach vacation - open shower, pool, veranda with view of the ocean.
