The property is located in a busy commercial area, many choices for food and other services. Only hitch was weak intermittent wifi access - a couple of attempts to remedy this were unsuccessful. Friendly and personal service to get checked-in, clean spartan rooms.

Clean, but nothing special. Comfortable bed, friendly service for check in. Cable didn't work, forgot to ask for the wifi password so couldn't access, but not a big deal. Sufficient for a place to sleep. Fridge and microwave were great.

Conveniently located of the 401. This motel is very outdated. Lots of signs of wear and tear, lack of proper deep cleaning and dirty linen. Fairly affordable if you don't mind turning a blind eye to a motel that still resembles what it looks like when it was first built.

The room smelled terrible, the bathroom was in a horrible state of repair. The shower fixture didn’t work properly, holes in the wall, sink fixture loose. Toilet wobbled and seat loose. We won’t be back.

Studio 1 Motel was a great little place to stay. Close to the 401, but right next to gas stations, restaurants, and a grocery store, it was convenient to get to. The room was clean and well set up. The pillows were very thin, but this was the only thing we noticed as less than ideal. It was quiet and we didn't notice any noise from outside the room. Overall, it was an excellent place to stay for a reasonable price. We will definitely be going back to stay again. Thank you.

this is a bottom end stay over place , would never stay here if a woman was with me, No garbage can in room, no lamp ( except ceiling light). Just an over all grubby feeling to the place. would not stay there again.

The bathroom ceiling was lined with thick black mold all around. Ceiling fan in bathroom is filthy and not working. A gaping hole in the bathroom wall filled with kleenex or toilettepaper. The taps were not secured and bolted or caulked. The shower tap is not installed correctly and doesn't turn off until you hit that perfect spot. The shower curtain is neglected and filthy and old. Simple care can fix these issues and yet got overlooked like black mold is nothing??? Have pictures to show. Pillows smelled a little musty. I am in Cobourg 3-4 times a year for work. My colleagues as well. Tried this place once and that will be it. Will absolutely not be back unless they clean and paint. Will not recommend to anyone.

Convenient for us. Nothing special and definitely dated. Could use a few more towels in the room. Water temp and pressure were awesome. Staff was pleasant. Bed firm and comfortable. Overall stay will be repeated when we need to stay in the area again.

It’s a roof over your head, but it’s pretty grubby for the price. There’s a lot of folks “living” at the place, so it’s somewhat greasy.
