The room and house was spotless, cozy and comfortable. The bed was so comfy. So many extras and luxuries that made our stay amazing. Breakfast was delicious and presented with so much attention to detail. Rose is a gem - kind and hospitable. We highly recommend it here when you are in the Port Hope area.

Rose was wonderfully attentive. Easy check-in; beautiful, cosy room; delicious breakfast accommodating my vegetarian diet. We had a delightful stay at this bed and breakfast in the lovely town of Port Hope!

Nice stay at Plantation B&B

My wife and I visited Plantation House B&B for a night and absolutely loved it. It is located within walking distance of Port Hope downtown area and the room itself is very nice. The room is clean, ventilated and comfortable. The bathroom is well stocked and has a nice Jacuzzi. The host was very friendly... served us hot breakfast and made us feel at ease.

The home has been tastefully restored and decor is exquisite. Furnishings are comfortable with like-new linens & bathrobes all lending to the luxurious feel of the place. We were a bit taken aback when we discovered our bathroom was off a common area - though still private, it was unexpected to find the 2nd floor guests exiting through the same area we tiptoed through to access it! Wear a bathrobe unless you don’t mind parading in pyjamas. 😊

Our hostess Rose was lovely, a terrific cook, happy, pleasant, and very thoughtful. Breakfasts were so special and delicious, presented on beautiful table ware in a bright room with windows overlooking the green gardens. There is a lovely back porch where we enjoyed our time overlooking more beautiful gardens. Our room was quaint, cozy, and comfortable. The AC works very well and fans keep air circulating around the farmhouse beautifully. The bed was a dream to sleep on. Sheets and bath linens are very high quality with lovely soaps, bath salts, hair products for our use. Parking is on site and convenient. Walking to the shops and restaurants took about 5-8 minutes. We would definitely book again and will be sending recommendations to our friends!

Rose keeps a lovely property and is incredibly welcoming :-) She prepared us a fantastic breakfast in the morning. We spent the night in her gorgeous Suite Room on the second floor, which was quiet, beautifully appointed, and spotlessly clean. Will definitely stay again next time we visit Port Hope. Highly recommended.

This is a lovely BnB, spotlessly clean and comfortable, surrounded by beautiful grounds, yet in close proximity to the downtown. Rose, who strictly followed the necessary covid protocols, was an excellent host, welcoming and informative. The breakfast was absolutely superb! We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Quel formidable endroit pour un séjour romantique! Et pour célébrer un anniversaire de naissance! Rose est une femme généreuse, accommodante, accueillante et vraiment sympathique. Il pleuvait lors de notre passage mais nous avons quand même pu apprécier la beauté de son jardin. Grand souci des détails. Vraiment un endroit à garder sur sa liste pour y revenir! Grand merci a Rose d’avoir créé un si beau gîte!! Merveilleux et 5 étoiles!

An excellent Bed & Breakfast!

My fiancee and I couldn't have been happier with this bed and breakfast experience. The place was comfortable and well designed. Even the bed sheets were of good quality. The host was most gracious and kind and the breakfast we had offered everything you would want/need. There is also a nice balcony that looks into the woods where we sat and had our morning coffee. We will definitely be booking with this place again next time we need a place to stay in that area.
