Lake house, amazing view, hot tub

  • Enjoy amazing views on Harris Brake Lake where kayaking, canoeing and fishing are fantastic for the whole family. My kids love the 70 foot zipline & tree swing. Sit in the deck chairs around the fire pit at sunset and listen to the great horned owls hooting on the lake's island. 5 kayaks, a canoe and fishing poles provided. Board games, card games and puzzles galore. 2 bedrooms sleep 6 easily with a queen bed and 4 twin bunk beds. Close to Petit Jean, Mt. Nebo, Pinnacle Mountain State Park
    The space
    The house will easily sleep 6 in the 5 beds. With 5 kayaks and a canoe provided, it is an outdoorsy family dream. We have an 9 and an 12 year old, so we work hard to make this space kid friendly. The tree swing, zip line, fishing poles, kayaks, canoe, board and card games are all efforts to encourage kids to get off electronics. We swim in the lake often and stock about a dozen life jackets, including child, youth, and adult sizes. The lake house is approximately 40 minutes from West Little Rock, 25 minutes from Pinnacle Mountain State Park, 25 minutes from Flatside Pinnacle Wilderness Area, 30 minutes from Petit Jean State Park and 50 minutes from Mt. Nebo State Park. Nearby hiking and mountain biking trails are spectacular.

    The brand new 5 person hot tub has been delivered and hooked up. The lake view from the hot tub is unrivaled.
    Other things to note
    Three amazing state parks are really close by. Pinnacle Mountain State Park is halfway between the lake house and Little Rock, and the summit offers spectacular views. Petit Jean State Park is the fantastic. The view toward the east over the Arkansas River is splendid, and Mather Lodge Restaurant, overlooking the Petit Jean River Gorge, is a great respite between hiking the Cedar Falls water fall trail and the Rock House Cave trail, just past the Turtle Rocks. But my favorite is Mt. Nebo, where Sunrise Point and Sunset Point offer the best view in all of Arkansas. And the mountain biking is fun for amateurs and some trails are challenging for those who are experienced. See pictures and more info in my guidebook on Airbnb.

We had a relaxing stay here as we were traveling back home after Thanksgiving. It was the perfect space to unwind, especially with the views and hot tub. Listing was accurate. Check-in was easy. Host was responsive to messages. TV didn’t turn on, but we don’t watch much TV. It was cold during our stay, so we didn’t get out on the water. Hot tub was nice, but it’s a little dark down there at night. A bit more lighting would have been nice, but overall a good stay.

Beautiful views

We had an amazing time staying at this location. Jason was quick to respond with any concerns that we had. Perfect place to stay if you are wanting to get away from the busy world and enjoy nature and fishing. We had fun playing board games and just enjoying watching the wildlife around the lake.

Beautiful lake house

The house was spacious and clean, the scenery is amazing. We enjoyed their kayaks and also how close we were to multiple parks and hiking trails. Host is easy to communicate with and quick to respond. We would love to stay here again.

Wonderful waterfront house

This felt like a vacation home, instead of a rental property. The house was very well stocked with little extras that showed the owner uses this house too. For example, binoculars(4 pair), kayaks, life jackets, reference books for local wildlife and insects, plenty of extra household supplies on hand(toilet paper, towels, pillows, etc.) Great place to stay.

Girls trip

Great place, access easy, accommodations were great. Plenty of items everything you could need was furnished. Lake view was amazing. After a hike the hot tub did wonders. Will stay here again. Would help if there were some lights on the stairs by hot tub.

Not only did the owner accommodate us in short notice but he made sure to help sort any issues we had… which were NONE! I was in AWE of the house/cabin and the scenery. Pictures do not even begin to describe how gorgeous, private and fun this place is. We are already making plans to come back!

Peace and quiet.

Great open layout, with giant windows for stunning views. Especially the sunrise with all the birds on the water . We all enjoyed the zip line, and kayakes that are available to use. And plenty of state parks, and national forests for activities. But the property is enough to keep you happy, if you just want to relax.

Spring break trip

Has to be one of the best views of the lake from this house!! We loved watching sunrise come up on the water every morning. My teenage boys and I really enjoyed using the kayaks to go explore the lake and do some fishing. My wife and daughter spent evenings in the hot tub soaking in the views. Jason was great communicating with us about the property. Couldn’t ask for a better experience. Would love to find our way back for another visit!

Restful Retreat

Wonderful remodeled 2bed 2bath house with huge windows on a corner lot at Harris Brake. Very rural, but only 30min from Pinnacle Mt and Petite Jean. Hot tub, kayaks, zip line and swing were a huge plus for two young kids. Quiet neighborhood on dead end with friendly neighbors and our kids played with their dogs. Great sunrise with ducks and wildlife. Like any lake house there will be some bugs and daily spider webs. Our only wish was for a fishing dock to get beyond the weeds. Otherwise a perfect place to rest and unplug.

Wonderfully relaxing lake house

Cozy lake house with fabulous view! A very comfortable place to spend a lazy weekend. The host responded very quickly to all messages, and he gave us great suggestions for things to do in the area. There was an osprey nesting offshore, and lots of birds nearby. We went on hikes that the host recommended. Neighbors were all friendly. The kitchen had all necessary pots and pans and tools for cooking all weekend. There is a really nice grocery store in town, too. It was the perfect place to watch the eclipse! Thank you so much!

Such a relaxing place!!!! Cute and nestled perfectly in the corner by the lake!

We LOVED LOVED LOVED our stay here! The place was immaculately clean! I was impressed by that! It's a beautiful little cozy home that is newly remodeled and omg the windows overlooking the lake are the absolute best feature! Not to mention the zip line for the kids and the kayaks we could use free of charge! We actually decided to spend a whole day not exploring anything and just relaxing in the lake house and kayaking on the lake. We also loved the small loft area. It was so creative how they utilized every inch of the home's space! The yard is open to other neighbors and neighbor's dog which we worried about when we first drove up, however, this wasn't a problem at all! I would give this place 5 stars!!!!! Do yourself a favor and book this home! You will not regret it!

Chistmas Getaway!

This house holds breathtaking lake views that words cannot describe. They are stunning! The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids and the perfect spot to relax from the trails of Petit Jean Mountain! I gave the neighborhood a lower rank only because the neighbors were much closer than anticipated and the very rare moments we encountered them, they were not the friendly ‘wave back’ kind of folks. The dog that wondered onto the property was so kind, but not knowing the dog, we were on alert when he was around. The inside of the house was perfect for the five of us. The ultra plush couch and beds made for a place to sink in to sleep. The only thing I wish I had known before, and this was simply my assumption and not a misguided belief, is the lack of closets or dressers. We don’t like living out of suitcases, and we would have packed differently had I realized there was no place we found to unpack our suitcases. The communication with Jason was quick and responsive. After our conversation he followed it with a picture sent by the previous guest of an eagle on the property and I caught myself getting up early to try to catch a glimpse for myself! Check in and out was simple and easy, no extensive list of check out ‘to-do’s’ just basic common courtesy tasks we would have completed regardless. We enjoyed our stay so much!

It was a nice Homie spot. I thought the hot tub could be cleaner and there was sewer smell outside and bubbling toilets had plenty of kitchen. Amenities beds were comfy.
