The best area to stay in Peroj is along the coastline, particularly near the main beach and the promenade.

This area offers direct access to the Adriatic Sea and the pebble beach, which is well-maintained and suitable for swimming and sunbathing. The promenade stretches along the coast, dotted with a few restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy local cuisine with sea views. It's a relatively quiet area, superb for those seeking a relaxing beach holiday without the crowds of larger resorts.

Couples looking for a peaceful escape will find this area particularly appealing. You can spend your days relaxing by the sea, taking leisurely strolls along the promenade, and enjoying romantic dinners with a sunset backdrop. The focus here is on tranquillity and natural beauty.

Families with children will also appreciate staying close to the beach. The shallow waters near the shore are suitable for younger swimmers, and there's plenty of space on the pebble beach for children to play.

The best time to visit Peroj is during the shoulder seasons of May, June, September, and early October.

These months offer pleasant weather, with warm temperatures superb for enjoying the Adriatic Sea without the peak summer crowds. You'll find the water warm enough for swimming and sunbathing, and the local restaurants and attractions are all fully operational. It's a great time for couples seeking a relaxed holiday with good weather and fewer people.

For families, late June and early September are particularly good. The sea is at its warmest, and while there are more visitors than in May or October, it's still less crowded than the height of July and August. You'll have plenty of space on the beaches and easier access to local amenities.

July and August are also popular, offering the hottest temperatures and the most sunshine, but this is also when Peroj is at its busiest.
