I would have given the full marks for service except for teh fact that once again a cleaning lady from housekeeping stormed into teh room catching me in my birthday suit, seems to be a common theam in many hotels."

"Stayed for a week, solo travel, some excellent staff at reception, some not so good, that could have been because i don’t speak Bulgarian, room is adequate for single travellers, warm and WiFi good, only negative was room or bins weren’t cleaned or emptied for the whole week. It’s about 20 min walk to main attractions but there are trams every 10 min at top of road, you can just use your debit card to travel, tbh the public transport is excellent in Bulgaria, used the Metro to and from Airport...

The immediate surroundings of the hotel were not great, but once inside everything was fresh and bright.The room was very clean and seemed to have been redecorated fairly recently. "Updated, comfortable and clean hotel. What imakes it stand out from the plethora of luxury hotels downtown is the sraff's exceptional hospitality. Being from the same industry i did appreciate the unbeatable combination of a very comfortable bed, tv with smart view, rainfall shower, scrumptious breakfast with great cofee, beatiful spa and the warm smiles of all the employees eager to help you at any moment. There are policies that are a bit unusual and i havent experienced in other hotels prior but they were no issue once explained.Front desk staff is with excellent communication and customer service skills. English is spoken throughout. The gym and spa area are immaculate with an on call masseurs. The property is located next to a great forest/park, one of the oldest in Sofia and it will take you 30 min to downtown if youre willing to have an adventure. Excellent for traveling with pets. I highly recommend this hotel! It was my home away from home for a week and i will most definitely be back! Thank you Maison"
