This beautifully styled Cornish home is one of a handful of traditional stone buildings that pepper Mousehole's quaint streets; and is the perfect family retreat for a coastal getaway to one of Cornwall's prettiest harbour villages. Retaining many of its original features, Sunrise has been delightfully refurbished into a contemporary space that feels tastefully modern yet comfortable and welcoming, with two bedrooms and the open plan living space perfectly suited to four guests.

Cooking in the modern kitchen is a laid-back affair where a range of utensils, appliances and cookware make whipping up humble home creations a breeze, and the room's dining table invites board games over breakfast or hours of evening chatter to discuss the past days' adventures or the following day's plans. The two lovely bedrooms provide a layout that works very well for families with children, where parents can retreat to their comfy king size bed and the kids have their own singles.

Lovely family holiday at Sunrise cottage!

Thanks for the lovely, easy and comfortable family holiday at Sunrise cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it's well-equipped and perfectly located to enjoy a few days in Mousehole. Steps away from the harbour with restaurants and a deli as well as immediate access to the coast path. Would highly recommend!

Charming house with musty smell

We stayed in the house for three nights. The house is nicely furnished and in a good location in the village. There are several restaurants nearby. We were bothered by the musty smell in the house. It caused my lungs problems. The damp air mainly comes from the bathroom, but the kitchen cupboards and wardrobe also smelled musty. During our stay, we kept all the windows and the front door open to get fresh air. It was quiet at night. You can hear the seagulls screeching, but that's part of a fishing village.

Such a Terrific 2 Month Stay (3/1 - 4/30) at Sunrise!

So well accommodated with every amenity thoughtfully considered. I was welcomed with flowers, Cornwall fudge, coffee and milk to start my holiday. Very comfortably layed out with a fully functional kitchen (I even successfully tried my hand at making pasties with o problem, l ly hax to substitute wine bottle for a rolling pin!) and the combo washer/dryer was a very nice bonus. Also, the shower is 1st class with ample hot water and a heated towel rack. Besides the great accommodation, its location right in the heart of the village was so convenient. I would book the Sunrise again in a heartbeat if I am ever lucky enough to return. Thank you also to Vera and Reva for their excellent housekeeping!

New Year's in Mousehole

Me and my friends stayed here for the New Year's period and it was perfect. Sunrise was perfectly located in the village and gave us all we needed for our stay. I'd definitely look to booking here again.
