The rating would be 4.
The rating would be 4.5 but that is not a possible rating. Well-maintained village, quiet, clean. The house is the same, with a rather spacious living room, kitchen. Some furniture is faded, there is a lack of dishes (intended for 6, maximum 4 in dishes) and no towels : I was not warned. Good bedding, very clean and comfortable, too bad the bed for a couple is 130 instead of 140.The staff is dynamic, helpful, kind, very friendly. the stay was pleasant, With the excellent value for money. I recommand
This property is in an ok location and has clean sheets - for that we were grateful.
The staff in the main building tried their utmost to be welcoming and enthusiastic. They did a very good job under the circumstances.
The rest is just tragic. The unit is run down, grubby and uncomfortable. Downstairs the kitchen units are about to collapse. The sofa bed is so stained you wouldn't want anyone let alone yourself sleeping/sitting on it. The floors are sticky and furniture uncomfortable. The curtains have hooks missing and need to be cleaned and re-hung.
Upstairs the bed in the main bedroom is on the verge of collapse. The mattress is lumpy and not fit for purpose. The outside is uncared for and not welcoming at all.
To the management of this property - be kind to your staff and do something about it. They try so hard with what little you give them.
We only came for two nights but left a day early as it was unbearable and felt more like punishment than a holiday.
