"Hotel S Bento is your typical larger hotel. The staff, however, was very friendly and helpful. We did have dinner in the hotel one night which was quite good but if you are looking for ambiance, it's not at this hotel. The location worked out perfectly with easy access to the National Park which was our primary desire. I'd stay again but simply be ok with a "hotel" vs. any type of BnB."

"Surprisingly nice and comfortable - with nicely updated rooms and bathrooms. Very nice breakfast and friendly service - all for less than $45 per nigh! Although the hotel is on a main road a little inland, its less than 10 minutes from very nice beaches in Povoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde! Also has ample parking, so great value for money. Will be staying again as I visit the north often! I'"

"Excellent stay only 20 mins drive from the historic town of Guimaraes. We had a beautiful double room with a fantasic view down into the valley. The gardens are beautiful, breakfast includes fresh orange juice from the orange trees in the garden. Claudino is very generous with his time and knowledge. "
