The rooms had an amazing view and the grounds were quite expansive and lovely. Ingrid and her husband made me feel so welcome, it added a personal touch to my stay. I noticed that there were many return guests, and I understand why. I hope to return some day too. It was a beautiful area to walk with my dog. And, the hotel is close to the city of Guimarães, which is an excellent day trip. It was a very relaxing stay, everything about it was perfect.

A steal at the price and amazing gem

We have just come back from our Portugal trip. This is by far the best place we stayed in and honestly, I think it is seriously underpriced. We paid half of what I think this place should charge for this amazing gem. Marcus and his wife (so sorry I forgot her name) were wonderful hosts. The place itself is picture-perfect and tranquil. The breakfast was divine, and the rooms were very spacious. The shower was fantastic. I can go on. Definitely an 11 out of 10.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is amazing, located on a farm with beautiful vineyards, old historic buildings and a gorgeous view. The guest rooms are very modern and comfortable, with everything you would want. The design of the units is perfect and they are tucked away into the landscape. The breakfast is great - lots to choose from and all delicious. I especially appreciate the wonderful selection of fruit. Most of all, the hosts Marcus and Ingrid are wonderfully kind and welcoming and do everything they can to make you feel at home. It was the perfect spot for us to explore all the neighboring towns, and yet we wanted to stay on the property to explore locally and enjoy the ambiance! (Make sure to check out the local - and walkable - 12th century Monastery and Roman Bridge - spectacular!) We will absolutely return and enjoy this site again.

Romance e tranquilidade

O proprietário, Sr. Marcos, é muito prestativo, atencioso e cortes. O lugar é belíssimo, tranquilo e aconchegante. Visitamos no inverno e ficamos com a sensação de que numa época de clima mais quente a estadia poderia ser ainda melhor. Deve ser considerada também a distancia, já que o local é bastante afastado. Outro ponto é que o local é bastante adequado para uma viagem romântica.

Marco was very friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was very good . Unfortunately when we stayed here the weather was very rainy so we couldn't take advantage of the rural setting. In good weather and especially the spring or summer this property would be a great place to stay.
