About this property
The Neyth
Summary:
Neyth, meaning ‘to nest' in Cornish, describes this stunning property perfectly tucked into the hills. As you enter the property and climb the stairs, the magnificent 180-degree panorama will reveal itself.
The Neyth has been equipped with everything you could need for a luxurious break, with many eco-friendly features.
The Space:
A sociable open plan layout allows you to make the most of your time together with light that changes from dawn to dusk. The modern kitchen has been designed to be an enjoyable place to create a hearty breakfast, snack or perhaps a cosy romantic dinner. No detail has been spared with the boiling water tap, colourful Le Creuset dishes and plenty of those all-important wine glasses. No need to wash up, simply load the dishwasher and let it do the work for you. The dining area makes best use of the space; a bespoke island table sits four adults comfortably. There is a real sense of connection with nature here, you are likely to see all sorts of wildlife, including birds of prey and even the odd fox!
After a long day exploring the Cornish coast, the large snuggly armchair and sofa provide a welcome retreat to sink into. The Neyth is extremely well insulated and heating is rarely needed in the warmer months. However, should you require a bit of additional warmth, easily adjustable thermostats for state-of-the-art infrared heaters are present in every room. Bored of the view? There are a selection of books to choose from; or a Smart TV. The TV can be adjusted on an extendable arm and cleverly tucked away into the kitchen island when not in use.
The two bedrooms both comprise ensuite shower rooms and king-sized beds, with one bedroom having the flexibility to become twin 2'6'' beds. This versatility means that the property lends itself well to families, friends, or a romantic break away. Nestled away in the eaves of the building you will be guaranteed a peaceful night's sleep on the extra deep mattresses, and crisp white linen. However, do mind your head on the sloping ceilings.
Venturing outside, the lovely south facing garden is the ideal spot to sit back and enjoy a G&T, taking in those Cornish rays of sunshine. Quality garden furniture is provided, including a bistro set, sun loungers and a picnic table. A little Weber barbecue is provided for use on those summer evenings, or perhaps a mild winter's day when Cornwall can still shine so beautifully.
For electric or hybrid car owners, a car charger is conveniently provided at a small charge. There is room for a maximum of two cars for guests on the driveway.
Guest Access:
Coming off the road, you are met with two wooden gates; the left one labelled 'The Neyth', will guide you to your allocated parking space and the property's main entrance. A key safe is located next to the main door, and can be accessed by the code provided by the Team at Creek and Country.
The Neighborhood:
In a secluded area close to Mabe Burnthouse, The Neyth is known for its tranquillity and relaxed living, overlooking blankets of grass and water. Down Trenoweth road, the property is away from busy roads and just a short drive into the town of Penryn. Snuggled next to Falmouth, Penryn hosts a variety of coffee shops, independent charity shops and a jubilee wharf that overlooks the Penryn River.
