"The room was great, very clean. All the "service" was done remotely, Pick up our own key, Hang up the key when one leaves, serve yourself breakfast. (it was a bit basic), The home made jam was excellent. The self service was not a major problem, but extra instructions/guidance would have prepared us as to what to expect. (little things such a local street map on the hotel website)."

"We arrived on a Thursday and where amazed at the Chateau's architecture, the staff where very welcoming and the room had a fantastic view of the Menia Strait, we looked at the sample menu the staff told us to download but it didn't really appeal to us so we ate at the Four Crowns ( recommended) later we retired to or room for a restful night, the breakfast was very nice though, unfortunately the following night wasn't so restful, there was a reception for - I'm guessing a Wedding, the live music started at 8pm and lasted until 3.20am, I didn't get any sleep until turned 4am, this has completely ruined the stay at the Chateau and won't be returning, at over £330 a night to stay here the bear minimum I would expect is sleep, I think it's just bad management as we were not warned there would be noise, I think the Chateau needs to dedicate the entire building to Weddings so the only people disrupted are the wedding guests themselves and not other paying guests"
