"Location is amazing with proximity to La Fortuna. It was the perfect distance for the feeling of safety with limited transit needed to get to attractions. The room was wonderful, no bugs, great AC, safe in room. The biggest disappointment was the shower head and water temperature. It sprayed everywhere and was not hot. Many more hooks around the spacious room would have been helpful for hanging damp or wet clothes. The soap products smelled amazing. The pool was lovely. We didn’t find any of the many hot tubs to be hot on our first night, but we did find one hot one on our second day. The buffet breakfast with eggs/omelets to order was amazing!! A truly wonderful dining experience with so many options. For dinner, we sat down and promptly left to go to town. There were no menu descriptions and the prices seemed extremely high. The town is not far and driving in the dark was not bad at all for such a short distance. L Options were far superior for us in leaving for dinner. Do not miss Tierra Mia or Restaurant Fortuneño. Would recommend and would return. "

"The room was clean, the staff was great the property was beautiful with a lot of nature. Very close to downtown La Fortuna with lot of activities and a free rope swinging river El Salto. Close to many restaurants, grocery stores, fruit markets and a short drive to hot springs and a volcano. My favorite part was the river in the backyard where I swim and relax.Big yard space where my toddler run around, explore nature, took a walk on the trail and play on swings plus the balls in the yard. I would definitely stay here again."

"We enjoyed a wonderful 4 night stay in a family room. Comfortable beds with sleeping space for 5. Beautiful views of Arenal Volcano. We enjoyed the beautiful pool and hot tub. And our kids loved the hammock chairs outside our little building. Robert in the restaurant was a wonderful host every morning at the included breakfast that was delicious and so plentiful. The drinks and suppers we had there were also delicious. Drink service to the pool was a fun bonus, as Robert really treated us and our kids like we were friends. The hotel grounds were well taken care of. A little nature trail on site. We felt 100% safe with the bit of walking in town we did. Was nice staying away from the hustle and bustle of La Fortuna. Would probably not be the best place to stay if you did not have a car. A charming town and hotel we hopefully can visit again someday"
