I really enjoyed meeting the "NEW OWNERS", friendly couple and easy to deal with. Although the room was comfortable and we were only there one night, my suggestion would be to work on "updating" the rooms. They have owned for approximately 2 months, not sure the state of the motel when they took possession? I did feel the price was on the high side for the condition of the room. But I loved the fact they were pet friendly! No coffee maker in the room, but they were glad to let me go to office and get a wonderful cup of coffee, one of the best coffee's I've had on the road! I would go back, if I need a place to crash for a night in Eganville, because of the new owners.

When we first arrived at this motel I thought we were at the wrong place as the place looked so unkept we thought it was abandoned. There were old mattresses outside and weeds growing very tall in the driveway and sidewalks. The new owner was very friendly and check in went well The room itself was not horribly dirty but it was clear no one had checked it in a while as there were dead bugs on the floor, in the bathtub and many all over the window sill and door area. We left and did not stay the night. If they do not pay attention to these little details and upkeep the property I fear what else they are letting slip.

The worst motel I stayed in

This motel should be close for poor hygienic conditions and lack of security. At first it looked like the toilet was clean until the first flush. Then the toilet was plugged solid with excrement. The strong smoking era smell, broken window, poor door lock condition and people talking until the middle of the night, all made for a restless night. The price for this gem was at least $30 high than the hotels and motels 30 to 40 Km surrounding areas.

It was worst stay ever. Limited Hot water, No Wifk, Dirty beds, Better to sleep in a car.

This is an older motel which is being renovated - bit by bit. The important things have been completed in our room - bathroom tub and surround, mattresses and laminate flooring.. TV and WiFi are good. There is a fridge and microwave oven but no coffee maker. I really missed that there is no light in front of the full length mirror, The bathroom is well lit but there is no counter or vanity - just a pedestal sink. I had to put my makeup stuff on the toilet seat. The desk chair was also awkward since the arms are too high to tuck under the desk With this big chair between the desk and the bed it was pretty tight to get past both to get to the bathroom. I felt the price was too high given the location and the amenities. Then I learned I paid an extra $20/night by booking through Expedia.

there was nothing appealing about this place. no staff at front desk when we arrived, a 416 phone number to call which they didn't answer. then they called back and stated we had no reservation even when I called twice to confirm our room and no one answered the phone. We were asked if there were any keys left on the counter and what were the keys numbers. We were then instructed to take a key and someone would be there to do the paper work. which was over an hour wait. The room was so cold an hour after WE turned on the heat and was not the single room that was reserved. I went to the front desk and told them we were leaving it was freezing in the room even with our coats on under the bed covers I was asked didn't you turn on the heat. We left and drove an hour and a half to get another room. Horrible experience!!!!

Exceptional service from Minnie, room was spotless + new...They went above + beyond, ensured my 2 friends + I got to Bonnechere Caves in time for our Underground concert...Allowed us to have a bonfire...Would definitely return...They should also partner with Chris at the Caves as a package deal..k thanks again for ur excellent hospitality!!!

The lady at the front desk was friendly and helpful. However, the motel is not in good shape. The first room we were given smells really bad and we had to switch to another room with no smell, but the air-conditioner was so noisy that I could not fall into sleep.

The only like I had with the property was the very sweet girl at reception. I asked if the room was one of the refurbished and she assured that it was. Well it needed a lot of work! Nasty musty smell, bathroom door that wouldn’t shut and simple things like - no bath plug, no toilet roll fixture, no hair dryer, old and crack paint work and on and on.
