"We went to Birmingham for a quick getaway to enjoy the city and check out the food scene. The townhouse had a ton of character and we really liked the finishes and decoration. Very clean and well maintained. The location has lots to offer with restaurants and shops within a mile of the property."

"We stayed at The Butterfly House when to attend a show at Avondale Brewing. The house is perfect with a fenced in backyard. The neighborhood is very walkable. We will definitely stay here again."

"Overall a success. This is a beautiful old historic home with lots of cool features. It was great for our usage - business associates in the Birmingham area for the Porsche Driving Experience. I would say it would be great for families and kids too. The rental process was great and convenient."

It was a little tough to pull out when the neighbors had their vehicles parked as well. There is other parking on the street, but it was full. And the driveway is fairly steep to walk up. "Pictures do not do this lovely lake home justice. It's absolutely beautiful and in a great central location with the most amazing sunset views right from the living room! We brought our boat and was able to put in from the dock on the property, and it was so nice to be able to put the boat in the lift overnight. Home was clean and spacious. "Well appointed cottage a couple of blocks off a busy street with easy access to the hospitals, downtown & clubs. Home is nicely decorated with a welcoming swing on the front porch. The neighborhood is peaceful and safe & fantastic for walking with a park 2 blocks away. Options for breakfast, lunch and dinner are also close by. "House has everything you need plus a fenced in back yard which makes letting your dog out so easy. Heat and air work great. Slept so well in the very comfortable mattress. Very quiet neighborhood. Took my dog for a walk as wide streets have little traffic. Easy to get in touch with host or his assistant. Recommend this property."

"Me and some buddies came in from out of town to see a show at Avondale Brewery! This house was a 2 minute ride from Avondale Brewery, with many others attractions in the neighborhood, and the Uber charges were exceptionally reasonable. Very nice house. Sizeable kitchen, large dinning table, plenty of seating around the table, sofa that would seat 4-5 comfortably or two people could stretch out, beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows. I would definitely consider this house for a future trip....
