Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy
I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it's important to share our experience. My family rented both Unit A and Unit B for my aunt's 70th birthday, and unfortunately, the property did not meet our expectations or the quality shown in the listing.The cleanliness was one of our biggest concerns. The bathrooms were in poor condition, the inside of the kitchen cabinets was dirty with debris, and the property did not appear to have been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival. The bedroom in Unit A with the king-size bed had a very strong bleach odor, and the sheets smelled as though they had only been sprayed with bleach rather than properly laundered. We also experienced problems with the Wi-Fi.There were safety concerns as well. A broken end table created a potential hazard, especially for children. We also found the accessibility information to be inaccurate, which was particularly disappointing because we specifically asked about accommodations for family members with mobility and health issues before booking.When we reported these concerns and provided photos, the proposed solution was for us to check out early. However, we were told that any refund for the unused nights would depend on whether the property was rebooked by another guest. They were unable to tell us how much we would be refunded or when we would receive the money, because they said they first had to see if someone else booked the unused dates.
