"Pictures/videos online almost seem too good to be true, but they don’t disappoint upon arrival. Great cleanliness in the rooms and a unique modern style to the rooms also. Food options were good, especially at breakfast and the hotel is located close to a beach (walking distance). For other excursions I would recommend renting a car. Would fully recommend and will be planning another trip in the near future. "

"We enjoyed our stay at this charming, quiet hotel nestled in a village-like setting with lovely gardens and a small river flowing by the main restaurant. The staff were friendly, hospitable, and eager to assist. While the main restaurant offered a limited menu, the à la carte options more than made up for it with excellent service and delicious food. The beach was pleasant, and the hotel events, especially the traditional folklore night, were enjoyable. However, the room cleanliness was disappointing—dust remained on light switches and floors, the towel rack was oxidized, and the toilet splashed water when flushed, despite daily cleaning. Overall, a lovely location with great hospitality but room for improvement in housekeeping."

"The pictures advertised on expedia.com were a lot different than reality. Bunk bed was not safe and our kids could not use it. Room quality, furniture etc were far from what we had seen on pictures"

"Our stay at the Lydia Maris in Rhodes was very nice. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. This includes staff at the front desk, restaurants, bars and the pool staff. They always greeted us with a smile and were alway happy to have a chat. It’s location is in reach of lots of shops and it has a very good reliable bus service to some of the nearby tourist attractions. It’s a lovely hotel but I don’t feel it offers all the facilities of a 5 star hotel as there was no access to an iron, extra fees charged to use the safe. The rooms are a bit dated and need to be modernised but other than that a lovely hotel. "

"This is my seventh time staying at Pefki Island/Lindia Thalassa. A great and solid hotel choice for families with young children; with everything you need nearby and with plenty of pool options. We had to change rooms during our stay, as a family room hadn't been available at the start of our stay, and the staff made the changeover super smooth. There is also next to no attrition in staff, which I take as a good sign. Even when the hotel is at full capacity it doesn't feel overly crowded and it's never an issue finding a sun lounger. A few things to note: - Located at the bottom of a hill, and Pefkos in general is hilly, so not ideal if you have mobility issues. The hotel can arrange a car service to take you into town at a cot of 8 euros. - Pefki Island is starting to look a bit tired and the space could do with updating. - There was an ant problem in several of the apartment blocks. - The spa and staff are wonderful but have very limited space availability due to the number of weddings they cater for, so book early to avoid disappointment.
