"I stay at the Glendale regularly to visit my daughter and granddaughter who live nearby. It is a lovely hotel above an Italian restaurant with very convenient access to Penarth train station with regular trains into nearby Cardiff.

"Unfortunately we didn't stay the night, we had to leave due to family circumstances.
We had a lovely welcome at reception. The gentleman on duty was really helpful and supportive.
The room was excellent, as was the view. Everything in the hotel was fresh and clean. "
"Lovely spacious living and kitchen area. Comfy and well equipped. Bathrooms good, with decent showers. All carpets need replacing, lots of stains and the outside area at the back wasn’t very inviting. Overall, we were happy with the accommodation. Great view and we would stay there again. "

"There was a bad sewage smell in the flat that seemed to come from the cupboard containing the mop. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable despite my friend bringing a mattress topper with her. It had springs sticking out. They don’t tell you before you check in that there is either a 38 non refundable deposit or a 200 hold on your account in case you break something. The flat was in a good location by the beach. New bedding needed for the main bedroom"
"We had a wonderful time in Barry. The house was located at a great spot to be able to walk to a lot of restaurants. Parking was easy. The view was wonderful. It was a perfect place to stay in Wales. "
"- The kitchen was very convenient and included most cooking equipment although the grill/microwave was a little difficult to understand
- Amazing environment, quite lively at times but did not affect noise levels due to soundproof walls. A big plus!
- Bed was very comfortable and the lodge had lots of storage space which we liked.
- Water pressure and temperature of shower was a little low but did not impact experiment too much
- Smooth communication and information provided prior to coming to Goodstay Lodges
