"10/10! We loved The Crab Shack! We had such a great stay at The Crab Shack! The house was super cute and perfect for our family and our dog. Having the fenced-in yard was a huge plus and gave us peace of mind while traveling with our pup. The beds were really comfortable, and the hosts were wonderful about communicating with us throughout our stay.We also rented a golf cart from Pawleys Island Golf Carts, and I’m so glad we did! It was so much fun riding around, and since the house is so close to the beach, it made getting there and parking so much easier.Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Everything was just what we needed for a relaxing family getaway. We loved the house, the location, and the whole experience. Definitely a 10/10, and we would absolutely stay here again! "

"We came in for my daughter's wedding weekend, and before we checked in, Ted literally called me and spoke with me. He explained the check-in process, which he made so simple. I actually rented another place that weekend too, but the check-in process with this property was so much better.Ted was so welcoming and let me know that if I needed anything, I should let him know. I think the fact that he called was a personal touch. The house was nice, clean, and had lots of room. We would definitely stay again and definitely recommend this property! Thanks for everything."

"This property is lovely and the host is very easy to communicate with. Luis also made an accommodation for our family on a needed appliance, which was great. There are a lot of pros to this property, it was clean, lots of sleeping spaces, good kitchen accessories, second fridge downstairs that we used for beverages, and the beach access is wonderful. The area of beach in front of the house was relatively private and compared to some areas of Pawleys, there was good beach above high tide to set up on. I will note that the kitchen and main area where we hung out is disconnected from the beach and on the marsh side. We really enjoyed the marsh, especially at sunset and the watchtower gave an incredible view, but did miss the beach sounds and sights as part of our house and porch time. The only real way to see the beach from the house is from the master bedroom balcony and even then the view is a little limited by the big houses in front. I'll also note that this house doesn't come with any beach accessories (chairs, beach towels) which was hard with some of our guests flying as we had to bring it all or rent locally. Finally, the bathrooms are all dedicated to the bedrooms, which was a little tricky for us with the people staying in basement or master area away from the kitchen and main gathering space. Overall though it was a great, beautiful, and unique space."
