"This property is adequate and in a nice setting, but needs small maintenance which would give it a higher rating. Toilet supply line, & grout in bath. Appreciated having a tub!! Pool looked inviting but we did not use. Heavy gluten Bkfst could use bacon or sausage. Good apples w peanit butter."

"We spent a very enjoyable long weekend at Woodpecker. The cabin was exactly as pictured and had everything we needed including dishes, silverware, pots and pans, paper towels, TP, salt and pepper, and the big surprise was the gas stove! Our bed was comfortable and the cabin was well cooled on a very hot weekend. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again."

"I would give 10 stars if I could. Everything was as promised. The communication was great. Karen was readily available and provided dining options when asked. The access to the property was super easy. This adorable little place had everything we needed, and more. It was very nicely decorated. Very comfortable and homey. Had a little sitting area for reading, or if you didn't want to sit on the bed. The shower was huge, with all the amenities you would need. Washer and dryer with dryer sheets, laundry pods; coffee maker (filter and pod) with coffee available, even beans with a grinder. Small appliances provided, ample supply of linens. And the pillows! You will definitely find one you like. Such a wide assortment. The only critique I have, and it's just a personal thing for me, is that it's got a 'lofty' feel so the walls in the bathroom don't go all the way up to the ceiling. It really bothered me at first, but all the other wins made it less of an issue. It was extremely hot when we were there so we didn't take advantage of the fire pit. But it's a lovely patio to sit out on. It is behind the owner's home, but they definitely do not intrude. The location is fantastic. Very close to Logan to all the stores and restaurants, and not far at all from other activities. I think Old Man's Cave was maybe 20 minutes away. Beautiful drive through the area. We just stayed a couple days, but we left wanting to come back for more."

"The breakfast was very good. The rooms were large and had big bright windows. I stayed 5 nights so that I could fully explore Hocking Hills state park and Logan and Ligan lake. The adjacent area was full of local restaurants who cooperate in giving discounts to hotel customers. A very lovely stay."

"We loved our stay here. Felt like home. The cabin was clean and well stocked including pots, pans, glasses, coffee mugs, plates…. Just about everything needed in the kitchen and bathroom. Definitely coming back. The only thing we would do differently is stay longer."
