red planet a basic small room just a bed , OK for a few 1 to 2 days. Clean and modern bathroom. Lift lighting flat TV airco all worked well. Near many shops, bars, retaurants and 5 minutes walk to the beach.

Filthy toilet seat but good location

Red Planet has a very good location but tiny rooms, old filthy toilet seat, bum gun was filthy, dirty walls and main hallways had dirty floors every morning. TV was blurry on every channel and sound was terrible and hard to understand. Condition of the toilet is unacceptable by western standards. No small refrigerator, no microwave, no furniture to store clothes so you have to live out of your luggage. Good AC and comfy bed.

Very bad staff ! They didn’t let me check in before 2pm even when they remembered me from last time. The room was ready but they tried to charge me 350 baht for early check in ! What ?? If you look for cheap place you wont want to pay extra for early check in did you got me ? I got there 11 am. Then came back with food to eat at 13:30. And they still didn’t want to give me the room ! Shame on you rude staff ! I don’t speak thai but could understand they didn’t want to give me the room because i didn’t want to pay extra ! Very bad staff ! 3 girls at the reception and no one want to check me in ! Even they knew i stayed there before long time ! Next day i was at the reception and another girl gave someone the room even when it was only 10 am. Good for her ! Griddy staff byebye. If the hotel wont give me free night I won’t go back to this place ever again ! Disgusting.
