"Conveniently located property on one of the main streets in Catania. Close to restaurants, historical sites, gardens, markets, and transportation. Staff was helpful with early check-in, information, and nice breakfast. Would highly recommend this hotel as it is a great value."

"What a pleasant stay! The hotel is so convenient to everything and a nice easy walk to downtown, all of our favorite restaurants, and the kiosko outside the hotel is so convenient for beverages anytime of the day. Rooms were spacious and breakfast option was simple. Only thing is the bed was not the best. Definitely needs to improve the mattress before we come back and stay. "

"My stay was on Saturday, so it could be different on other days of the week, but the area close to the hotel is like Las Vegas Strip with hundreds of people walking and shouting, cars honking, and bikes revving till late night. And there is almost none sound insulation, so if you go to bed early, there's no chance to sleep. Moreover, if you are at 3rd floor you can hear screech of chairs scraping in the restaurant/cocktail bar at 4th. Another disadvantage is the lack of kettle in the room. Other than that, it's a very nice hotel with a great view on the sea, varied breakfast (though, strangely, there's no orange juice!), and an underground parking (it's next to impossible to park on the street)."

"A good stay. Hotel is really close to the main train station, which is welcome after a long trip. Check in was efficient & friendly. Room wasn't the biggest but was spotlessly clean. The bathroom was actually quite large, again very clean. Shower was double sized and had great water pressure. Air con was good & powerful. There was an outside sitting area (shared) which was really nice. Breakfast was included in the rate, which I was surprised at because the rate was such good value. It was a buffet style and the seating areas for eating were really nice. The coffee was made for you, fresh - a nice touch. The area it was in was a bit sketchy, to be honest. It was totally fine if you were coming from the train station, but I then went out to find a bar and went further on in the same direction. It wasn't great, so I bought a couple of beers to go and went back to the room. Also, the hotel didn't have a bottle owner.....bear that in mind. It's essentially an "old fashioned" hotel. Cleaners, reception, decor, breakfast service. All very welcome when lots of hotels say they're "coming up with innovative solutions" when in fact they're just cost cutting. This place isn't that. I would definitely stay there again though. The value, the outside areas and the good standard of cleanliness makes it an easy decision."
