"The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and was clean. It only had instant coffee in the room and my husband was disappointed with that, but not a huge deal. Now the only real complaint was there was a sewer smell both inside the building and outside in the beach area. It came and went, so at least it wasn’t a constant. We never asked about it, but someone had mentioned that it is common. It didn’t ruin our stay, but worth noting as it is a bit off putting. The breakfast buffet was lovely. There was definitely something for everyone and if not, you are just too picky. We booked a private tour through the hotel, as it was most convenient for us. Katarina was our tour guide and to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement! She had places she wanted us to see and in doing so, went over her allotted time. You don’t find that very often. We loved the location of the hotel, as it was close to many restaurants and some shops too. Our stay was great and our time on Corfu was wonderful. "

"Apart from a misleading description regarding breakfast, bar and food availability it was good. The booking information, advert and hotel photos showed all services in operation. As it was, none of these were open. Breakfast was just a box of pastries and sandwich and this needed to be ordered the day before. No bottled water or any beverages were provided and only coffee made by the staff. Despite these inaccuracies and their lack, I enjoyed my time there, mostly due to the small but dedicated staff who tried their best to make my stay satisfying. It's such a shame as a completely fitted commercial kitchen, cutlery, crockery, dining room, breakfast room and breakfast bar, bar and well stocked library and lounge were to a very high standard. They just weren't stocked with any food or drink. The room was spotlessly clean and came complete with a new working fridge, ac, TV and shower/toilet, fresh linen provided as/when required and very comfy beds, which were remade daily. Outside there was a bar, bbq, oven and a beautiful large immaculate swimming pool, 20 sunbeds with table and parasol, clean pathways and cut grassy areas, the pool was checked and dosed daily. The shame is that with slightly more support, food and drink plus slightly more staff, this hotel would be an absolute cracker. Location, peaceful, relaxing, beautifully appointed beyond it's 2 star rating. I hope that the owner crews it up and provisions it to allow this little gem to shine. Change the advertising. "

"We were so lucky to find this lovely house in the village of Lakones. Clean, comfortable and well equipped. The views from the balcony across Paleokastritsa and out to sea are breathtaking. We had one small problem in the kitchen which the host fixed immediately. Wimmediatly. "

"We were so thrilled to be able to stay in Helene's beautiful cottage in Corfu. The cottage has breathtaking views of the mountains and oceans. We just couldn't get over the views day or night. It is beautifully designed with two bedrooms (one is a loft), gorgeous kitchen with great supplies, bath, and dining areas with sliding doors off two sides. We could walk to town and get coffee. We also walked to both Liapedes and Rovinia beaches easily. Helene was wonderful on communication. We hope to stay there again! "
