"I have been coming to Catalina and staying at the St Lauren for 37 years usually on the third floor room 309 which is my favorite. This time I was on the sixth floor and loved it. I will be returning in October to stay again. I love being able to store my luggage upon arrival! The helpful staff after learning I loved an employee who had passed they gave me her obituary which I will cherish forever!! This is the perfect location with great ocean views from the 6th floor patio. See you in October! Ms. Chandra DaSilva"

"The shuttle from the Catalina express was amazing! They were there right when we got off and shuttled us to the hotel to drop off our bags! Check-in was super fast. The breakfast was really good. The pool is super nice (not heated). The view is a great overlook of Avalon area! The room is super cute and clean. The hotel staff are amazing! They have golf carts to shuttle you up and down to the main area. We are very impressed with our stay here! They even shuttled our bags down for us so we could tour around bag free! Amazing service."
