It felt like a home, not a rental. Having the USFS property out the backdoor made for fabulous wild life viewing. It was thrilling to hear the elk bugling. We felt safe and enjoyed our trip.
Was a wonderful stay! Saw plenty of wildlife, the cabin was cozy and clean. Wonderfully located close to the Grand Canyon and nestled between two towns.
Great place to stay and super responsive host. Cabin was a wonderful place to come to after a long day hunting and the hot tub topped it all off. Will use again if available and drawn in the future.
Cabin was spotless, met all of our needs, comfortable, the only thing missing was an outdoor fire pit which is understandable due to fire danger. The stars were beautiful
We had such a good time and enjoyed watching the Elk in the backyard every day! Great location and peaceful. Just what we were looking for. Would definitely come back.
Cabin was beautiful, pictures really don’t do it justice. Loved the hot tub. It was a nice relaxing weekend for a couple, but looking forward to coming back with the family!
We had a great time watching the chipmunks and the hummingbirds as well as listening to the elks bugle in the morning. The property was clean and offered a great base camp to activities such as The Grand Canyon. Veronica was a gracious host, can't wait to come back!
This place was perfect for what we were looking for. Property is secluded and beautiful! We like to stay places off the beaten path with privacy and this had both. Cabin is nicely furnished with everything you would need. What a gem and we will be back hopefully for more than just a weekend.
We have spent the last month touring AZ & CA and have stayed in some fabulous properties, but when we walked through the front door of Veronica's home the reaction was just ‘wow’
Everything you could possibly want or need in a beautiful location.
If I’m ever back in the Parks area this would be our #1 choice of place to stay
We absolutely loved staying here. The cabin is secluded and quiet but easy to get to, as the road is well maintained.
The cabin and furnishings are all cozy and very clean, we were so comfortable.
The hot tub was a nice touch and was the highlight for our older child.
The host was so kind and helpful and offered us lots of information on things to do nearby, and there is alot to do nearby!
We would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.
It was everything advertised and more. We had ample time to explore the woods, go to the Grand Canyon and hang out in the hot tub. We had all the space to just unplug and be in the wilderness, soaking up the peaceful surroundings and we definitely plan on going back in the near future.
My wife and I spent a week here and couldn’t have picked a more perfect spot!
We used it as a central point to go to the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Jerome, Williams, Flagstaff and the Petrified Forest.
The hot tub was so relaxing in the evenings and if you are up late enough you can hear the elk. The house had everything you need with lots of space.
If you are looking for a great location this is it!
We have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and this is one of the better ones we have stayed at. The bed was very comfortable and the house was very clean. There was everything we needed. We especially loved how it is dog friendly and we were able to bring our fur babies. The location is beautiful and so secluded, we loved relaxing in the hot tub looking out at the forest. We are already planning our next trip there!
Beautiful location deep in zone 7w. Weather conditions were less than ideal this year, but nothing to do with the property. The ammenities were perfect and the location provide easy access to usually prime hunting spots.
Beautiful property hidden in the forest. The pictures do not do it justice. It’s perfect. My family and I had a great time together visiting the Grand Canyon. Thank you for having us. We will definitely be back.
We had a wonderful week at this property. It is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. We had so much space and so much privacy. It was everything that we had hoped for and more. There was significant snowfall just before we arrived and the host went out of her way to make sure that we could get in and even allowed us in early. We would love to stay here again and hope to in the near future. Thank you for the fantastic stay!
This cabin was absolutely immaculate and well maintained. All amenities are first class. Owner was very personable and helpful. Our only regret was that we had a short stay. Would highly recommend this to everyone.
This rustic cabin in the woods was perfect for us, for 2-couples, and a 15-mth old baby, puppy, and me grandpa. We visited several of the hostess's suggested sites. The amenities were just right. TV w/ several movie channels, Wi-Fi good, hot tub nice, beds comfortable, cozy homey feeling. We didn't have time, but there was also cornhole set, and a nice firepit with lots of wood. We would definitely stay here again.
