"We spent the month of July in Blue Hill at the Barn Owl. The pictures do not do justice to the property, exquisite! Walkable to the sweet town of Blue Hill. Spent our days exploring the Blue Hill Peninsula, Desert Island, and Schoodic Peninsula, wonderful coming home to this beautiful property. Host Dennis and Cate are so accommodating and welcoming."

"It is small but more private than expected with a location over the garage and the owners next door but with enough space in between. Large people wouldn't be comfortable in the shower. It's about a mile into the village center and although there's no sidewalk for half of the distance, it's a pleasant walk with minimal traffic."

"The home was perfect in a cute little town with shops and restaurants. Best equipped kitchen we have ever experienced. The gardens at the home were absolutely stunning and we enjoyed late afternoons taking it all in. The home was very clean and had comfy beds. The host had some great suggestions for things to do and was quick to respond. You will not be disappointed staying here."

"We had an amazing stay in Blue Hill! We chose this spot because it was the center of all the action we wanted while in Maine. It was great! We had plenty of space. It was well supplied-so many towels! It was an easy drive in and out of town. We walked to several restaurants and a coffee shop. Blue Hill was a great little town, and this space was great."

"I stayed in this cabin with my brother so we could visit Acadia and I loved it! The space was very clean and had the supplies we needed (first aid, bug spray, cooking utensils, etc) and we loved being next to the pigs! The host was very communicative and flexible with our schedule"

"We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment had everything our family needed and was the perfect size for the four of us. It was clean, comfortable, and made a great home base after long days of exploring.It isn’t a luxury rental, but it had all the essentials and was exactly what we were looking for. We’d definitely consider staying here again if we’re back in the area!"

"This was the perfect place for our quick friends getaway to Acadia. Within an hour of the best spots and there was definitely more to explore that we didn’t have enough time to see. This host is also one of the best I’ve ever encountered. She went above and beyond to make sure we knew where and how things worked, gave recommendations for area sites and was extremely communicative. The place was clean and well equipped and our two dogs loved their stay as much as we did. Thank you so much!!!"
