Disliked: Staff & service
My family and I hit a deer the night before our reservation. Our car needed massive repairs and was not drive-able. My husband and I couldn’t make our anniversary staycation. Expedia was wonderful to work with. They called the hotel as well as myself. Was told our room would be refunded, they were just waiting on a manager to approve. I called and called to speak with the manager to have the promise fulfilled and left multiple messages only to be ignored. I requested either a credit for a later stay or a refund due to it being an emergency and wasn’t just rejected, but ignored during an already difficult situation. We wanted to celebrate something special and our family ended up taking such a hit from our accident and this property. I would not recommend dealing with this property. The staff didn’t seem to be very knowledgeable and obviously not responsive. I hope they can learn from this and also other travels can avoid staying here.
