Tidy, Convenient Spot for Utah Ski Weekend
When I come to ski in Utah I prefer to stay at the junction in Park City. It is just minutes from the Canyons launch point for the Park City resort or 15 to Deer Valley and the bonus - a manageable 30-35 minutes Alta/Snowbird or Brighton/Solitude.
I have stayed at NewPark Resort many times. A well designed and managed condo/hotel that is surrounded by restaurants, movies, bowling and everything else you might need as a distraction. The center of Park City is 10-15 minutes away if you want a bit more character (or characters) in your evening.
The comparison point for this unit should be a hotel room. There is no laundry or kitchen - but there is a fridge and sink - comfy bed, large pullout couch and large bathroom w/ huge closet for bags and clothes.
All in, I give this a much higher rating versus the area's moderately priced hotels which tend to run $50-100 higher per night for more crowded and noisy accommodations. The unit owner, Tim, is a conscientious host who checked in throughout the process to make sure all was well.
