The residence is just 200 paces (175 yards) from the lifts at Silver Lake Lodge which serves as a main hub providing the fastest lift access to the entire mountain.

►THE LODGE
Black Bear Lodge provides a memorable setting for your mountain vacation with it’s log exterior inspired by the grand old lodges of the American West. Inside guests appreciate the warm and inviting rustic elegance of its design.

►THE RESIDENCE
This beautiful residence features upgraded luxury finishes and furnishings throughout while maintaining its romantic mountain lodge charm.

LIVING AREA: The spacious floor plan includes an open living area with stone fireplace and 55 inch 4k TV below an oversize natural log mantle surrounded by plenty of seating for the perfect gathering space after a day of adventure.

KITCHEN: The open kitchen and breakfast bar will be your casual focal area while preparing snacks or pouring a glass of wine. You will find quality glass drink ware, wine glasses, and champagne flutes ready for use. Beautiful white porcelain dishware and stainless flatware will make all your meals look special. The kitchen is thoughtfully appointed with everything necessary to prepare and serve a full meal including refrigerator, large oven, induction cooktop, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, air fryer/toaster over, slow cooker, smoothie blender, chef knives, professional cookware, iron skillet, enameled cast iron Dutch oven, glass baking dishes, baking sheets, cooling racks, cutting boards, wide variety of utensils, and wine / bottle openers.

DINING AREA: The dining table with comfortable seating for six features two extension leaves perfect for holiday meals or entertaining.

Bedroom suites are located down the hallway at the opposite end of the residence providing a quiet refuge to relax away from the activity of the great room. Suites feature king-size beds with luxurious euro-top mattresses fitted with high quality linens, so you'll get a restful night’s sleep. These spacious suites feature 40" LED TV's w/ DVD, bedside charging hubs, sitting area, and attached bathrooms each with shower and jetted whirlpool soaking tub. Shower water pressure is excellent, and you can fine tune the flow rate using the manual control valve. Guests will enjoy resort quality towels, toiletries, tissue, toilet paper, and professional salon hairdryers.

PATIO WITH PRIVATE SPA & BBQ: The residence’s patio is accessed off the main living area and features a sitting area, Weber electric BBQ grill (available Jun-Oct), and private whirlpool spa (hot tub). Access to the spa is convenient with a gas-lift assist cover and once you slip inside, you’ll be able to adjust the jets and lighting to match your mood.

WIFI INTERNET: Complimentary 550Mbs high speed WiFi Internet is provided within the residence.

►LODGE AMENITIES
While staying at the lodge you’ll have access to several common area amenities provided by the homeowners’ association.

OUTDOOR HEATED POOL AND SPA: Families love the heated outdoor pool and whirlpool spa. Open year round, the pool deck is heated in winter to make access comfortable and convenient. Relax and unwind while enjoying the clean mountain air in the whirlpool spa and then take a quick plunge in the pool when it’s time to cool down.

BBQ GRILL: The pool deck also features a BBQ grill with natural gas connection and outdoor dining table so you can prepare an al fresco meal while enjoying the beautiful mountain sunset.

FITNESS CENTER: The fitness center, located on the garage level by elevator 3, is open year-round and offers a Peloton bike, NordicTrack rowing machine, NordicTrack treadmill, free weights, resistance bands, yoga mats, balance boards, and WiFi.

GARAGE PARKING: Although a car isn’t necessary, if you choose to bring one, you’ll feel like an owner with your private assigned parking space close to elevator 2 in the heated garage. (EV charging is not available)

GROCERY DELIVERY: Pre-arrival grocery delivery and stocking is available through our preferred partner The Grocery Girls.

►DEER VALLEY RESORT AMENITIES

COMPLIMENTARY SKI STORAGE: Take advantage of Deer Valley’s complimentary day and overnight ski storage at Silver Lake Lodge to make the trip worry free; add a hot wax mini-tune for only $10 to get off to a great start the next morning.

SKI SCHOOL: Deer Valley ski school is located at Snow Park Lodge but getting there from Silver Lake Village is easy and convenient. This is Deer Valley after all, and they’ve already thought of everything. Simply board the Silver Lake Express chairlift from the Silver Lake base area and you’ll be delivered directly to the Snow Park Lodge base area where you can check in for lessons.

SKI RENTALS: Ski rentals are available at Deer Valley’s Silver Lake Lodge and through several other providers in Silver Lake Village. Ski ‘N See offers on-site rentals as well as delivery and is located next door at the Chateaux Deer Valley. Cole Sport in Royal Plaza next to Silver Lake Lodge is another great option.

DEER VALLEY SKI BEACH: Considered a "Must-Do", grab a beer at Silver Lake Lodge and take a seat outside in the sun at Deer Valley's iconic Ski Beach. Hands down, some of the best people watching in Park City.

►DINING RECOMMENDATIONS

CENA RESTAURANT & LOUNGE in The Chateaux is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner with patio dining available in summer. Cena is a casual and family oriented Italian style restaurant. Menu items will include a variety of flatbread pizzas from the wood-burning oven, pasta and world-famous meatballs. Cena’s breakfast buffet is truly a hidden gem. Overseen by the corporate chef at Stein Eriksen Lodge you’ll enjoy a top-notch not-to-be-missed breakfast dining experience for about $25 per person.

ROYAL STREET CAFÉ at Silver Lake Lodge is open in winter and summer and offers creative American and international cuisine along with a scenic deck dining. Open for lunch, après, and dinner. We recommend making reservations.

THE MARIPOSA at Silver Lake Lodge is Deer Valley Resort’s premier evening dining establishment during the winter season. After the lifts close for the day, Silver Lake Lodge is transformed into an elegant fine dining restaurant. Top rated by the Zagat Restaurant Guide, Mariposa offers a blend of classic and current cuisine as well as tasting menus including their Mariposa and vegetarian specialties. Reservations are highly recommended, and we suggest securing yours several weeks before traveling during peak winter times.

GLITRETIND at Stein Eriksen Lodge is the height of culinary excellence, providing guests with an extraordinary global cuisine experience. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily, along with the daily winter Skier's Buffet and the famous Sunday Brunch, a warm, luxurious environment is framed by stunning surrounding views of Deer Valley Resort. Corporate Chef, Zane Holmquist, focuses on seasonal menus and fresh, local, and sustainable ingredients for his award-winning dishes. Reservations are highly recommended.

TROLL HALLEN LOUNGE at Stein Eriksen Lodge offers a more casual setting with fantastic views of the mountains. Open for breakfast, lunch, après, and dinner you can easily dine here more than once during your stay. You can’t go wrong with the Stein’s Burger. Reservations are highly recommended.

GOLDENER HIRSCH at Goldener Hirsch Inn offers delicious old-world cuisine with regional western fare from local family farms to create a contemporary and refreshing take on traditional alpine cuisine. Open for breakfast, lunch, après, and dinner they are famous for their Cheese Fondue, Weiner Schnitzel, and Apple Strudel. This Four Diamond establishment is set in a charming Austrian décor complete with crackling fireplace. Reservations recommended.

PARK CITY'S HISTORIC MAIN STREET DISTRICT is only 2.5 miles away via Guardsman Connection Rd (i.e., the mine road) and provides a charming and historic mountain town setting with over 30 restaurants to choose from. Some of our favorites are The Mustang, Prime Steak House, High West Saloon, Butcher’s Chop House & Bar, Bangkok Thai on Main, Courchevel Bistro, Handle, Riverhorse on Main, Chimayo, 350 Main Brasserie, Firewood, and Grappa.

We have stayed at Black Bear many times over the years. This was our favorite place so far. The host has included a lot of amenities like bedside plugs and humidifiers that made things more enjoyable and easy. The house is clean with nice linens and towels.

Our stay at this Deer Valley property was absolutely perfect! The ski-in/ski-out access made hitting the slopes effortless, and the breathtaking mountain views were the highlight of our mornings. The condo was beautifully decorated, with all the amenities we could need, including a cozy fireplace, all the items needed to cook, and a private hot tub.The location was incredibly convenient, with easy access to the resort and just a the free bus stop across the street, which made getting to Park City's Main Street a breeze. The property manager’s communication was outstanding she was friendly, responsive, and ensured every detail of our stay went smoothly. We can’t wait to return for another unforgettable getaway!

Had an amazing time in Deer Valley for a special event and turned it into a family getaway. The location was great and the host was quick to assist with any request. Beautiful location, great accommodations and unique part of the world no matter what time of year! Would definitely recommend and would love to return for another visit.
