Quiet And Airy Luxury Studio In The Upper Marais

This fully equipped studio is two blocks away from the very trendy rue de bretagne at the filles du calvaire metro station, line 8. it is located at the second level (third American) of a XIX century elegant building with no elevator and opens south with three large windows on a planted and large courtyard. consequently absolutely no street noise. It is 30 square meters or around 300 square feet.

The studio consists of a main room with a full size comfortable queen size bed ( 160 * 200 cm or 64 * 80 inches ), a bathroom with Italian shower and a basin, a fully equipped kitchen with a combined washer and drier and a separate toilet. there are plenty of closets, a table for two and a desk.

The apartment comes with free phone to 100 countries including North America and Australia, free WI-Fi, free cable TV.



The all-inclusive rental fee covers quality linens and towels.

The location is very convenient to tour Paris. It is a walking distance (less than five minutes) to Le Marais, Bastille square and Republique square. You can then access metro hubs easily ( Republique and Bastille ) and go just everywhere in paris directly without changing lines. And you are only 15 minutes walking to the very center of Paris, chatelet.

The area is residential with a large variety of cafes and restaurants. In the same block there is a large supermarket ( carrefour market).

Please be aware of the contractual 40 euro for any check in before 1200pm and after 900pm. If the apartment is not rented the night before the 40 euro applies in all cases. If the apartment is rented the night before we do not charge the early check in, we can check you in starting 1000am, keep your luggage but ask you to leave the apartment until the cleaning is finished i.e., around 1200pm.

Apartment was great and clean, I won’t call it “luxury” though. Great location quick access to a couple metro station and a lot of options for restaurants nearby. There is an intensive humidity smell in the building, and it is a little bit present in the apartment. If you have any respiratory problem or allergy I would avoid renting this place.

Wonderful Xmas in Paris

Can’t say enough about the location, walking distance of multiple Metro lines, and apartment was bright and quiet. Olivier, thank you for answering all our questions and for recommendations. Truly made our holiday special. Only suggestion would be for new towels for guests. We hope to return and stay again.

Enjoyed our stay while in Paris. Good location close to great bakeries and restaurants, close to 2 or 3 metro stations. You can get nearly anywhere in the City in 30 minutes or less via metro. Had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Quaint Apartment by Metro

My girlfriend and I greatly enjoyed staying here. The apartment has lovely french doors to let cool air in, and we loved the easy access to the metro. There was no nightime noise pollution even with the windows open. Would stay here again.

Nice and quite apartment

I stayed in the apartment with my 14 year old daughter. The location is excellent with easy access to Metro stations and a lot of nice cafes and shops in the neighbourhood. The apartment was clean and has everything you need. I particulary liked that it’s faced towards a backyard, so it’s quiet even though you’re in the middel of everything. Great Property, Great Neighborhood, Great Host

The place has fantastic location. Near a lot of Metro Stations, with different lines that connect you everywhere. Olivier, the host was fantastic. Recieved us on time perfectly, very clean and easy to handle the place, and with details as a nice Champagne Bottle of Welcoming. He knows the Marais and neighborhood very well, and told us the best places for dinner and brekfast, supermarket etc. When we left we forgot some valuable documents in the apartment, and Olivier Managed to send them back to us. He is very concerned that the guest has the best experience. Definitely we recomend the place 100% !!!

A very quiet private getaway in Upper Marais

We enjoyed our two week stay in late November early December. The property is clean with great window light and plenty of storage. Only two desk chairs and one straight backed upholstered chair for sitting around but when you are in Paris you do your sitting around in cafes. The bed was comfortable and has drawers beneath it. The heating even was improved during our stay and the washer dryer works great, especially for drying rain soaked clothing. The owners were prompt in replies before and during our stay. We are over 70 and out of shape but we managed the stairs (and got a little workout daily). We love the corner bistro just a few steps away and the market is just a few steps the other direction. Because the apartment is through one building across a patio and into the next section, it is very quiet. No street noise and friendly quiet neighbors. Easy access to metro system. We miss it already!

The Best of Three Worlds

I loved the location, right at the meeting point between three fascinating, fun and trendy arrondissements. The 11th, 3rd and 4th. So many wonderful off the beaten path places to discover while still steps away from many must see sites. And excellent, fast transportation to the central sites. Great dining. Amazing bookstores (don’t miss Merci around the corner). The apartment itself is comfortable, spotless, and very well equipped. Every detail is addressed (outlets everywhere, lighting, mirrors, kitchen equipment). I especially loved the three large windows that let in light and air. During a couple 100 degree days the provided fan did an excellent job keeping the place cool. Olivier is a great host who has excellent recommendations. He leaves a helpful guide. Very responsive. .You can’t go wrong with this place. Excellent.

Apartment was nice with beautiful windows overlooking the courtyard. Good location, close to several metro stations. Amenities were pretty basic. Bad smell in the staircase. Olivier seemed annoyed with us at check in (stated that we requested early check in even though I told him we would be there by 1200?). He wouldn’t wait for my husband who had just popped in to the store, which meant I had to carry all our luggage myself up the stairs. He was most unpleasant about it. Otherwise Paris was wonderful!

Great listing

We loved our stay here! We relied a lot on Google maps and translate, but we were able to figure everything out pretty easily. We felt like the listing was very accurate, but maybe note the this is, indeed, a studio. There is only a swinging curtain over the shower/sink entrance. But everything worked well--the all-in-one washer/dryer was easy to start before heading out on adventures and our clothes were dry when we got back. The location was great, with several metro stops to choose from within a block or so, giving access to lines 8, 5, or 10. There were plenty of bistros, cafes, brasseries, and restaurants around to choose from, and breakfast was always a croissant and baguette from one of the boulangeries that were so friendly and patient with our pointing and thanking. There's a Carrefour market a couple doors down as well for picking up anything else. And we appreciated having multiple check points with keys or codes between us and the street, just for the security. The flat was comfortable, quiet, and a nice little taste of Parisian living! If you're a couple, I highly recommend this place!

100 Rue Amelot is a superb, secure location that is easy to access and close to a variety of transport options. The flat is charming and functional, with everything a traveller might need provided.
